We had a great time and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas. The nature trail to get down to the beach was quite overgrown. This campground has a rule of no fires past 10pm, which was a bummer considering sunset is after 9pm. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Sites are not the most spacious which isn't a big deal if u plan on exploring the areas during the day. Friendly staff!

They booked us almost last minute. Staff was very polite, courteous,professional. They were in between ice vendors. Bummer.

Attention to detail goes up and beyond what you can expect here. Staff is very present in making sure your stay is comfortable and inviting. Always smiling and willing to help at anytime. Second year here and we have decided this will be the place to go if we stay on the coast. Thank you KOA for being a champion of the roaming RV travelers!

They served a simple breakfast for $5 which was nice as we didn’t expect that. The staff was all very nice. I would suggest they put some sort of buffer on the screen door of the cabin since it slams so fast and loud. It was a nice short walk down to the bay to clam or drive to the crabbing dock.

A wonderful clean campground. The spaces are nicely separated for privacy. The restrooms/showers are impeccably clean. The staff is very friendly. We have been going here for a few years and are never disappointed.

a campground with a view what a special place bathrooms could use some updates and the internet was almost nonexistent but everything else was great loved the breakfast on saturday am

Don't take the 'nature trail' unless you are very physically fit. Other than that, it's the best we've stayed at. The deluxe cabin is worth it. I didn't see any tent sites. The escallonia hedges throughout make for great privacy. We will go back

Very clean, trim grounds, plenty of cute cabins too..great store, of course. Looks over bay & has access to bridge easily. Trail to beach needs work. We will return�

Great people and place. I wish all the restrooms were open, not just the ones not yet remodeled. Nice and quiet. Dog pet play area was closed.

A nice place for a stopover while traveling the 101 along the Oregon Coast. The park is very clean, the staff are friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Overall, this was a very nice visit. Nice well-kept park, one of the best KOA's in the Pacific NW. Seems the restrooms were always "occupied" even in most unusual times.

A fabulous two nights vacation RV campsite with KOA in Waldport / Newport and an enjoyable event gives us pleasure and beautiful view pacific coast. But three Restrooms and Showers were not used but need renovation. We recommend it’s worth it join KOA.

Quiet comfortable stay. I was disappointed to see that the nature path has not been maintained and is not accessible due to blackberry bushes. That path is part of what made me decide on this location.

The space was easy to get into with our motor home. Hookups were closely available. (This is not a mark-down, but the brush around the electrical box and the sewer was very thick and made it hard to get at) Overall, we were treated very well and we felt very welcome. We really liked the general store and it seemed it was very thoughtfully stocked for an RV convenience. The location is beautiful

We just are getting to take our new truck and trailer out. With a Thursday 9 May reservation, we were not able to get to the KOA until Friday morning. The campground manager was very good about getting us checked in. This turned out to an incredibly enjoyable stay. The camp spots were fairly full, but everyone was being very considerate of their neighbors. We very much appreciate the atmosphere.

We had a site overlooking the bay. It was beautiful! We took the nature trail down to the bay and enjoyed the seals and birds. A bonus was seeing the Furuta borealis that night! Excellent!

Lovely campground. The views are great. Love the hedges. Lack of hot water in the showers was an issue. The office could be open more than 6 hours a day. Still, we would definitely stay here again. Granddaughter loved the beach and watching the seals.

Stayed only one night driving through to Cannon Beach. Place was very clean and easy in and out. Was what I would say was off season though first part of May 2024.

Very quiet park but several spaces had dog poop in them. We are dog owners and would never leave a mess behind. Some spaces needed mowed. The no visitors rule seems a bit strict. We appreciated how quiet tho.

This place is very well set up and over looking the bridge and ocean and we got to see 8 seals while walking over the bridge and on the beach . Very clean campground

We stayed in one of the lodges. It was nice and conveniently located for exploring the coast and nearby towns. Our friends stayed in a back-in side that looked over the bay which was a really pretty view.

We had a beautiful site with patio, fire pit and outdoor grill pit, plus 2 sitting areas. Nice privacy hedges. Easy access with our 38 ft class A. Did not utilize the bathroom or showers. Access to the bay was quite rugged not an easy access. We would stay here again.

I identified a water leak and was asked to move to another cabin. I moved so the workers could they get their job done. When I went to the office to get a new car pass, the employee said “it’s not like we scheduled the water leak”. No one offered to compensate me for my troubles. i will be exploring other options outside of KOA.

Breakfast was amazing. The staff was so friendly. Playground is amazing. Also there is two. They have an amazing store and Becky and Katie are incredible. The grounds are amazing and the bathroom are so nice and clean. The internet works great too. They have propane filler on site also .

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
