Easy on/off of major highway . Well maintained campground. Bath houses excellent. Big rig friendly, many pull through sites. There isn't a lot of space between sites, but we were here before holiday/summer season, so our 'neighbors' were spaced out well, but during peak season it would be tight ! Great amenities for families. State park is fairly close too

Bellefonte/State College has been our favorite for 15 years and they've only gotten better as the years have gone on. Camping up and down the east coast and as far west as the Mississippi, we haven't found another one that compares.

The spot at this stay was not as nice as before. No view. Too close together. Did not like placement for sewer at all

Great clean park. The staff are friendly polite and knowledgeable of the local area attractions. The washrooms are spacious.and clean. The pool wasn't open for our stay. The staff was busy cleaning it and getting it ready for opening memorial weekend. Like the gated entrance. Planning on staying here again next year.

We used the KOA as our base camp for exploring Bald Eagle State Park and downtown Bellefonte.The deluxe cabin was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Our stay here was great. I was so thankful to find these cabins. My son’s wrestling tournament location was moved to the State College area just 10 days before the tournament and we needed accommodations quickly. It was perfect. Cabins we rented were small but perfect for us and priced great. Bathrooms are very clean and huge. Thanks

I've been camping at no doubt one of the best KOA's in the nation for going on 15 years and one thing hasn't changed...The water pressure is horrible!!!

We was excited and when arriving the cabin we rented for the weekend, I guess we didn't do our dudiligence to see the size of the cabin or the appliances we had to cook. For the price it's not worth it and the campground area has a rattlesnake problem. I understand there is possibilities of snakes but the time we was there we seen over 8 snakes only going a 2 cabin span up all rattlesnakes.

Comfortable bed and living space. Good value for being so close to Penn State. The staff were awesome and treated well when we had car issues and had to leave our car at our cabin to attend graduation! Only things to mention were that the bunks were just a little short for tall kids (6 ft plus) and the plates were not microwave safe.

This was a trip back from Elkhart Indiana I would normally score a 5 but we were a bit disappointed on the trip out to Elkhart when our bedroom slide malfunctioned which prevented us from being able to sleep in the rv. We were forced to cancel our stay. Because we were less than 48 hrs from our stay, we were charged. Hotels have 24 hrs cancel policies. Campgrounds should have the same.

Single-use shower and bathrooms at the top of the hill are the best I've seen in any campground. Staff is friendly and helpful. Campground is well-maintained. Please bring in some dump trucks full of gravel for the sites and roads. It's just too muddy in the rain, and drainage is an issue in some sites.

We used Bellefonte KOA as a stop along our trip but should have made it our destination. It was beautiful, well maintained, had great ammenities and the staff were wonderful. I would love to return and stay longer.

The site was level so we didnt need to unhook. Beautiful grounds with pool, covered pool house, dog park, jumper, playground and the coolest bike park/boardwalk. I love the automatic gate and pass. I always feel safe at KOAs even in areas I've never been to. Excellent!

Modern facilities that are well maintained. Very secure with the use of the badges to enter the campsites. Will be even better once the young trees have grown a few more years.

Stayed for two nights. They should escort you to your site or point out in the directions that they have two gates and which one to go through. It was a nice park with plenty for the kids to do.

No hot water in shower. Even though sign said let it run for 3 minutes. After 8 minutes still no hot water. No escort to camp site…map very confusing.

Campground is very nice with good amenities. Restrooms were great. Check in compared to other KOA's was a little difficult. Direction to our site as not clearly explained or illustrated to us. Additionally, at check in little was offered about trash removal, activities, firewood, ice, etc.

Overall this is a nice campground, Need some gravel down near the dump station and trash bins, It was very mudding due to the rain. I would prefer not to see the rate hikes for the big event weekends for Penn State.

We always enjoy staying at this campground and would recommend to anyone. One asap recommendation we would make after this weekend’s experience is to re-do all locks on the bathrooms. There were multiple instances with people in our group and also witnessed other folks thinking that the doors were locked and doors were still able to be opened. It led to a few embarrassments and included kids

We’ve stayed here for the past 4 years. It’s improving, although we have yet to swim, bike or hike there. Bathrooms were clean, pond is nice and love Hilltop Farms for bacon and produce ( about a mile away) 25 minutes from Penn State.

This is an excellent campground and we stay several times a year in our 38 foot MH. The patio sites are very nice. Great amenities and the staff are very friendly. Probably the nicest, most up-to-date bathhouses we've seen. Very unique bike track for the kids, jumping pillow, and pool area (a little small, but very nice). Would definitely recommend staying here. Owners are very friendly and nice as well.
