I had a meeting in town but wanted to camp with my animals. Butte KOA was pleasant and so close to uptown Butte. I loved the creek and birdlife as well.

Campground was quiet and well maintained, but the sites were SO CLOSE together. The bathrooms were just ok - 6/7 had no toilet paper - it was the end of the day, but this obviously isn't checked at the end of the day. Not a huge deal, but having visited many KOAs, this was just ok.

As with most Journeys, campsites tend to be too close together. But bathroom facilities are exceptionally good, staff is super friendly and access to long walking trail and uptown Butte makes this a very nice place to stay. If campsites were larger, I’d rate this a 5.

The campgrounds were well lit with amazing bathrooms. We wish we'd stayed longer to use the other amenities.

Cabins were a blast to stay in. Bathrooms were clean and the shower heads were amazing! The camp host knew a lot about historical Butte. Was able to purchase souvenirs from local artist that you can’t get elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We loved Butte KOA, but it’s still a KOA. Not many trees…. But, wider spots than normal.

We were late arrivals and were looked after before official opening time in a very friendly manner. We never used facilities so cannot advise on them. Cheers. Hart

Grass was dead, lots of dirt. People were friendly, employees fine, the numbers on the camp spots confusing.

We stay here 1-2 times a year. Seems like it's better each time. This time we didn't hook to sewer dump because it is right next to our neighbors table. Gross. When we left our plan was to use the dump station but couldn't access it because of the angle and a vehicle parked in the way. Not a big issue as we were only traveling a short distance to our next stop. But maybe move the tables?

Good place to stay, easy on and off freeway, spent one night as we traveled through. The maintenance guy needs to slow down in the UTV.

Trash dumpsters were full of logs and boards. Need more gravel in the older pull thru’s behind the office. 521 space. Otherwise all is okay

The young gal at the desk was not welcoming, however, after that met a work couple from South Carolina and they were GREAT to visit with and very friendly. Made our stay very good.

Everything was great! The bathrooms were always spotless, host and owner were so friendly, and it was quiet. I was traveling with dogs and the trail right behind the campground was perfect for exercise in the evenings. Will definitely stay here again!

You only have one chance to make a first impression. My first impression at this KOA with the person who "greeted me" was the worse I have ever experienced at the typical KOA. I received NO greeting. The person barely acknowledged my presence. Never looked at me, and was generally curt and unfriendly. That soured my stay.

Lovely, quiet, clean, well maintained RV park. Large, level sites. Choice of open sites or sites surrounded by large mature trees. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not use restroom or shower facilities because we had our own. RV park overlooked farm land below. Had a small petting zoo. Liked it so much, we stayed here an extra night.

The campground were very nice, clean, and well maintained. Possibly the best showers we have ever experienced camping. Staff extremely cordial and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed at in recent history. It may not have all the bells and whistles like the Billings KOA, but the bathrooms are clean, the spots are nice and level, and the hospitality is unmatched. Thanks to the crew here in Butte for making our stay better than expected!

This is our second time to camped and i would say: my family feels at home! Because everything we need for my furry friend and my daughter Nikka are here conveniently within the community and most important is safe! Thank you KOA Butte!
