A Class Act! The office made it easy to plan and book tours of New Orleans and supplied a shuttle service to and from town! There is even a dog walking service! The staff was very accomodating when we had to extend dates several times while waiting for important mail. After a bad storm one night the crew had branches cleaned up the next day! Incredible dedicated staff here. Thank you so much!!!

Nice campground close to city but far enough away. Like that they have shuttle service to NOLA but didn’t experience it this trip. Camp store was well stocked and employees all very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful vacation in New Orleans and the campground was perfect. KOA's are always top notch and you did not disappoint. Doreen was so helpful and patient helping us plan our activities as I know she repeats the same information a bazillion times a day. The pool felt good after a hot day of walking and sightseeing and our pooch always enjoys playing in the KOA dog parks. Stop the storms!

we Were up charged on the second night (Thursday) only to be camping next to the laundry and bath house. We were in a very severe storm on the second night, took out power knocked down trees, broken limbs hitting the trailer, etc. No one from camp ground checked on the campers. With no electricity, and for us no solar or generator,we left the campground as soon as possible the following morning

Totally untrue. Weekend rates start on Thur. You agreed to rates when making an ONLINE rez. Not next to bathhouse. Not only did we check on people, we were out IN THE STORM, to clean up trees & debris so nobody was hurt. Other amazing reviews are proof of that, as is the news report we were in.

Third time staying here - easy on and off from the interstate. Crew are great - although not a huge fan of backing into any spot - these folks make it easy and painless. Had a super storm pass through - winds clock at 84 mph at the airport - crews were out early to clean up the tree debris and assess damages. These folks are here for you - thanks!!

After the severe storm the other day the campground allowed people to use their generators all night. I was in a tent, traveling by bicycle and the person twenty feet from my tent had the generator going full bore all night. 62 decibels. I called mgmt and was told there was nothing they could do. I guess they forgot that people in tents are customers also. Not one minute of sleep after that.

Hi! We have to balance making ALL guests happy. We had our staff turn their generators off. However, we couldn't go rig to rig, asking our guests to turn their generators off & to sleep with no power or air. We have medical patients in here. We tried to do what was fair for all. Thanks

Very friendly, but not as well maintained as others that we have been

Hi! As new owners, we're tirelessly working on upgrades. We JUST did a major office remodel, new pool pump house, a lodge renovation, new site furniture, replaced our fence all the way around our park & working on new electric pedestals. As you can see in our reviews, we work VERY hard on our park!

The attendants were fantastic. We arrived at 8:00pm and were promptly checked in. We also had help backing our trailer into our spot - always appreciated! There were two big storms during our stay, and the cleanup was fast and orderly.

We stayed for 12 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff are super friendly, the pool is beautifully maintained and bathrooms are clean. We did not take the shuttle service but noticed many fellow campers did. We will be back!

The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly, explained the layout of the KOA, bathroom code, and pool hours. We chose a tent spot which was close to the bathrooms and pool. Tent spot was level with water & electric. Planes & trains all night but may have been louder because we were in a tent. Pool was warm and bathrooms & showers were clean.

Very helpful information about how to use the streetcar system and where to park. The pool was refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. Nice outdoor sink for dishwashing.

Friendly, helpful people. clean bathrooms. Nice large trees. Only negative is there are NO pull-thru sites but they are great about helping you back in.

Conveniently located 3 miles south of I-10 and just 10 miles (25 minutes) from the French Quarter, it is a good place to stay to visit the city without being in the middle of it. Felt safe and secure within the park as they have recently completed installation of a new 12 foot fence on the two sides and back. Would rate a 4.4.

It was our first time staying at a KOA We loved it! Everybody was so helpful & friendly. The shuttle into the city worked well for us as we got a mini tour.

This was my first stay at a KOA. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tent spot was very nice and as private as possible as well as shaded by a lovely tree. Bathroom was clean. Campground was quiet at night.

Hi! In busy season, especially during Jazz Fest, it's almost impossible for us to accommodate without a rez. So, that means we have to use whatever site we have left, thus, the not very even site. Thanks for not holding that against us. We hope to see you again in the future!

Everybody was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed here two nights and had a great experience. Easy to ride the shuttle into downtown and if the timing doesn't work for you, Uber is also a good option. Thank you New Orleans KOA for a very pleasant stay!

BEST KOA IN THE COUNTRY! We have stayed in over a hundred KOA's and this one is the BEST! The customer service is excellent. Shuttle service to various parts of the region including the fabulous New Orleans Jazz Fest was a massive support. The internet was swell, the environment superb, and restaurant recommendations were excellent. Special commendations to Moriah, Dave, Chad, and Kassie. WOW!

This was our second time here, and won't be our last. The park itself is safe and quiet. Yes, there are train and plane noises, but nothing more than one would expect in an urban setting. I do recall middle of the night train horns last time, but none after around 10 or 11 pm this time. The staff and management are top-notch and they work hard to make sure everyone has a great stay.

A unique family campground in the midst of the city. In the process of upgrading to a KOA Resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. Resort was clean. Campground got lashed by 80mph winds leftover from the recent Houston, TX Haboob. SO SCARRY. Amazingly, no RVs overturned, though I do think some were damaged.

Stayed in most good RV parks in NOLA area, but settled in on KOA West in Riverridge as our go to place. Been staying here for 25 years. I believe it changed hands a few years back. They have been improving the facility. It is convenient to the area, people are nice and friendly! You can spend more but won't do much better!
