The location is nicely set in the trees, but most spots are not level. Things looked a little rundown. When we arrived about 7:00 PM on the weekend we wanted to see about changing our site. But the office was closed and the number on the door to reach somebody, was the motel next door.

Very friendly and clean. The site was easy to back into for our first time driving a 37 ft Monaco knight. And for as full as it was it was (Memorial Day weekend) amazingly quiet so we heard all the wildlife around us. We will be back for sure!

Campground is close to the highway. The sites are easily accessible. There were alot more trees then expected. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Bathrooms were clean. The only downsides were pool wasn't open yet and the mosquitoes were horribly bad. I would not hesitate to stay agian.

First site was to unlevel for our rig, was given a new site easily, staff was helpful. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Soft water when showering (probably just what the area has).

Couldn’t ask for nicer people to run this beautiful campground. They were accommodating, friendly and helpful, right down to giving us a choice of two open sites when we wanted to be further off the road. The grounds are very well maintained, the bathrooms and other common areas are spotless. This was the best KOA we’ve stayed in — and situated perfectly to everything natural in Munising!

Well located on a good highway, yet quiet due to trees and distance from road. Flat, wide sites with plenty of space between. No problems at all!

Could not have had any better service. husband had an accident when we were there, and they helped get us to the hospital and back to camp site. I don't know how we would have found or gotten there without their staff. We well stay at other KOA's as we learn how to travel in our RV.

Pleasant stay. Only negatives were water/cable connections were 100 feet away and mosquitoes just about carried us away.

This KOA was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The credit card reader wasn’t working at the time I got there so they had me set up and would call me when it was ready. Which was great because I was exhausted from the drive. I would definitely stay here again. The campground was quiet in the back and everyone was very respectful around us.

Paid for full hookup but couldn't use them because of the distance between them had 30 ft of cord to get to electric and went and purchased 10ft of drain to add to 20 ft already had made it to the hookup but was so high out of ground wouldn't drain just collect in hose cause of the grade of site

This was one of the better KOA that we have stayed at very clean very well managed proximity is perfect for getting around to the sites in the upper peninsula. Thank you.

Great staff very helpful. Would suggest they look at investing in some gravel the dirt was a bit overwhelming. Good location to many local places to tour. Newer bathroom upgrades also. Internet also was good.

The staff was fantastic. The sites were dirt, no gravel and in the rain was a mud pit. The sites were not even close to level in any direction. The picnic table was 100 yards away from our site.

The stay at the campground was as good as a campground is. The showers look like they could use some upgrading as they seem very tight when you"re are a taller man. My girlfriend said the womens showers looked like they don't get cleaned. Other than the showers everything elase was great.

This trip we had to deal with a breakdown to our travel trailer. We borrowed some tools from the park team to resolve our issue. They were very helpful with assisting us in getting a tire we needed.

Pros: beautiful location. Staff was friendly. Cons: shared electrical between spots was unusual, no location to wash dishes, showers were very moldy and tiny. Handicap shower head did not attach to anything so it was impossible to shower and the water went everywhere. The showers need some major cleaning and remodeling. Toilets were not cleaned daily. Very muddy—needs more gravel in camp sites

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The premium campsites offering Starlink accessibility are sub par. The road noise can be loud.

We arrived after the office closed but all info was available to us for finding our site. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We are newbies to having a tt and the site was spacious and level. Easy for us to set up even in the dark!

It was beautiful with all the fall colors, and there weren’t many people there because obviously in the middle of October it’s not very busy. I don’t know what we did wrong, but with all the empty beautiful sites, we got put at the corner of the pool deck right where people had to walk through to use the restroom. We couldn’t change it because the office closed just after we registered.

Beautiful fall stay! WiFi slow. Cable entertains on those drizzly fall days. Definitely the place to stay for all those Pictured Rocks activities!

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- Stayed here in late-July 2023. Back-in. Water and electric only 30 amp. Site #62 $53/night 3 nights stayed Site #62 THE GOOD Location: Close to town where you go to take any of the tours of Pictured Rocks. Also close to gas, food, and groceries (about 10 min). Sites: Backed up to woods with lots of space and felt really comfortable for a camping experience. THE BAD Site: All grass and not level. NOT GOOD OR BAD: Wifi: Did not connect to campground wifi. Cell service: Neither Verizon or AT&T were good. AT&T was just good enough to get some light work done. Facilities: Did not use laundry or showers to review.
