Outstanding campground. Staff very friendly and always ready to help. The campground is very popular especially when the park is open. We wanted to stay through the weekend but not one site was available for us. Definitely need to reserve far in advance whenever possible.

Overall quite pleasant, although we were surprised that the pool and the camp store closed so early. Also, only having two bathroom stalls over by the tent camping area (where we were staying, albeit in a pop-up) seems...problematic. We were only okay because there were no tents. Had there been I would anticipate long lines for the bathrooms and showers.

we always enjoy our stay at this KOA. we have rented cabin many times for Kings Dominion. however the price is already QUITE substantial and if you arrive early before 4 pm they charge $25 extra. the cabin could use some TLC and updating. Our refrigerator door would mot stay closed and leaked on floor

Overall this KOA was the same standard as most we have stayed. We arrived late - reserved FHU pull thru online. Assigned space appeared to have no sewer. I went to the office in the morning to pay balance I complained about sewer and the fact that the ground looked like someone dumped right there. Clerk was snotty said only EW was booked. Maintenance found sewer buried under 3 inches of dirt.

We like staying here for the convenience of being off 95! Quick on/off & easy pull thru! Would love to use pool, looks beautiful! Clean bathrooms & park!!

The lot we had was too small for a large RV. There was no sewer hookup on the site. Good thing I had extra hoses. I had to run my sewer hoses to the site next door. The site had no flat area to set up anything safely. Just a bad site for any camper.

Beautiful park with great RV sites and lots of shade trees. We would give it five stars if there were doggie waste and bag stations. The KOAs we have stayed at have always had these, so we were surprised not to find any. Fortunately we had bags and cleaned up after our pets, as always!

My only complaint is the fact that you are "cashless". I hope this is not happening at all KOAs.

The park is a convenience for the King Dominion. The pull through were all buddy sites and tight on utility side while the shared area flooded. A majority of the backing also flooded. Staff was uninterested with concern. Not up to KOA Holiday standards. The cabins seemed very nice

Great and friendly staff with an easy check in and out service. If you tent camp stay away from the volleyball side it will become a moat with heavy rain. Overall great place for us to come and stay.

Nice campground, competitive pricing. We only stayed one night as we were passing through the area. Very clean and well maintained park. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great facility! One suggestion, update your map with direction arrows for your pull throughs. Your side-by-side set up of sites is effective but a little disorienting, particularly for folks arriving after the office has closed.

Great campground that’s really close to the fair grounds and just across the tracks from Kings Dominion. Friendly employees and clean facilities. The KOA to measure all other KOA’s by.

We only stayed one night as a stop to our destination. It's the second year in a row staying here and both times we had the same site. The site is paved but is not even close to being level. A few sites in this row of sites had the same problem. The sites are also close together in this area. I would hesitate to stay more then one night because of not being level and sitting water in the sites.

I was at site 209 and my hook ups were extremely far from the site. I enjoy Kings Dominion KOA but that particular site needs relooked at.

We checked in after hours after a day at Kings Dominion and it was such an easy process. The cabin fit our party of 4 comfortably, beds were comfortable, and the cabin was clean. We will absolutely be back, we were sad the trip was only 1 night!

Very friendly at the desk. The cabin for the most part seemed to be clean. There was a fork in the shower. It poured rain while we were there and both of the cabins we rented leaked at the front door so there was a puddle in the morning. Neighbors were up till 4am outside of our bedroom talking even though there is a quiet hour. The campground as a whole looked very clean.

Camp grounds guys in trucks were rude. Didn't take cash only card. I hope all the online banking back fires and you are unable to access your money.

We had a wonderful stay at the beginning of spring at the Kings Dominion KOA. All the personnel are so helpful and friendly. We had to leave earlier than planned and the staff was so accommodating. The sites are beautiful and clean. Thank you to the entire team, see you soon.

We really like this park so we actually extended our stay. Very clean & nice sites. Only negative is there are so many trees Starlink has trouble getting a clear signal.

It's OK. You are really staying there just to go to the park. The sites are right next to each other and very small and many d have grass. Most sites have little to no space for your vehicle. The shuttle is great, picks you up at the front office and drops you right at the front gate of the park. It runs every 15-20 min so you really don't wait long if you arrive and the shuttle is not there.

Easy on and off from i95, we arrived after hours and didn't see any employees until late morning the following day. Could use some security at night. Showers were clean and the surroundings are lovely.

We stayed in a cabin. The camp was clean. We missed the camp store, but from what I saw, they have EVERYTHING! The cabin was beautiful and so nice, more than I expected. The theme in the campground was family and we saw everyone walking, playing, or enjoying a bonfire.. 10/10 will DEFINITELY stay again I didn't take pictures, I only made a video of our cabin and can't upload, sorry... But you should rent a cabin! 😁

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.
