Campground Reviews

Our stay was very nice. It was early in the season so not everything was ready. The pool was closed The rv lots needed to be raked. We were there for 3 weeks. Except for one weekend the park was not busy so there were lots of empty spaces. The park placed other campers right next to us. Why not spread the RVs out to give every one space. The manager and staff were very friendly.

The new bathrooms are beautiful. The updated playground near west area for kids is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff is very friendly and fun to talk to. The grounds were very well kept and we can see that they are trying to get the trees in better shape. Would love to see some work done on the bigger playground when there is time to do it. It needs more pea gravel for safety. Nice new bathroom building was brought in.

Clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Our only "complaint" is there is no KOA branded signage out by the road. We didn't know for sure we're were in the right spot until we got clear into the property by the office.

Staff amazingly friendly, Campground is well maintained especially the bathrooms and showers on a long weekend! Store was very well stocked. Only drawback was that the rules state no extra tents on sites w/ an RV bu sites had tents & RV's. Our kids wanted to camp but we followed the rules. Kind of sucks not everyone had to follow them.

Coming here for years and we were ready to go elsewhere but the staff and management of the park this year showed they knew what they were doing and how to treat campers. We were very pleased and will be back next year

This campground has just been taken over by KOA. The previous owners have let it really rundown. The best thing KOA has done is hire Nick as the new manager. He is just what the campground needs to effect change and oversee the massive renovation of the infrastructure and facilities. He helped us with the laundry room and showers etc. wonderful. We loved our site number 3 in the woods.

Campground was nice, quiet and easy to find. Was advertised of having a pool to use. Once we got there realized it was open and in fact was not functional? Would have been nice to know upfront, or provide a discount on our trip. Very pricey campground.

We love this campground. However, for the duration of our recent stay there was construction on a bathroom nearby. There was loud power tool noise from 9 am until 9 pm all day Friday night, Saturday and Sunday morning. They were also playing loud music the entire time. The noise greatly diminished the quality of our stay as there was no "peace and quiet". We would appreciate a partial refund.

Really nice campsite, minutes from the Royal Tyrell Dinosaur Museum and lots of hiking and biking trails. Showers and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and when there was an issue the staff addressed right away. The pool is great, it can be on the cold side but the kids will love it. Sites are on the small side but in good shape and offer full services (including wifi). Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you're exploring the Drumheller area.

We were in Drumheller for the Johnny Reed concert and stayed at this campground resort. Just reading the negative reviews regarding this park really does irk me. Complaints about patchy grass etc, give your head a shake, this is pretty much a desert environment what were you expecting. The park staff and including the “golf cart guy” were excellent hosts. I just don't get the negative reviews as we found the golf cart guy to be very accommodating and very friendly, in fact I think we were parked beside his residence with our trailer. Perhaps for some, it is a little expensive but if you want or need full services, 50 amp and the convenience of the location this is the location, if not then move on. We found the location very quiet and we even backed on to the main road behind. Our stay was really good and really convenient to downtown and the Amphitheater.
