I had a transmission problem and Ford couldn’t fix it for 2 weeks the staff was very helpful

This was a beautiful campground for everyone! Families & couples alike, they had it all… Games to great laundry facilities to the people. The park itself was close enough to get to a lot but secluded enough to feel homey. It was clean, well cared fur & everything we’ve come to expect from KOA & more; highly recommend & we’ll be back I’m sure!

I was passing through on business so this wasn't a trip for pleasure (I have a dog and like to stay in the cabins), for that, this KOA was fine, nice pool and hottub. Like the majority of KOA's, it was next to a major highway so was noisy. It's a bit like a parking lot, which is more typical in major cities, but if I were going for pleasure, I think I'd find another option.

Nice, clean and quite park. Beautiful pool and lots of activities. Adult hot tub and even a put-put golf course. Stayed an extra day it was so nice.

This visit was just a short stay. We have been here to Journey before. We just love this place. It’s honestly a well laid out campground. We will definitely return.

Friendly staff but the grounds are not maintained well. Weeds are overgrown and the overall image seems dated.

Nice park. Patios in between sites is nice. Dog park with grass and another with pebbles. The only downside is the constant train whistles even at night.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff helpful. Only issue is the bathrooms. While they are clean there are no windows and need better ventilation.

Everyone was so amazing and helpful. The ladies in the office were always so kind and very patient with all the questions we had. Definitely going to be staying again.

Pull through sites require you to share a rock area with the person next to you. No shade. In a little rough area, was happy they have a locked gate at night. Traffic is pretty loud even inside the camper with sound machine. Laundry facilities were fine but need credit card option or coin machine in the facility . Decent bathrooms, pretty clean grounds, staff were friendly.

Great level spot, spotless facilities. If you can stay on the end further from the free way I do recommend those spots for less noise at night

Park and restrooms were very clean. The location makes it a convenient overnight stop from I40. This is an urban park with small spaces but it met our needs.

One of my favorite places to stay, been going there for years. Clean and safe. sometimes heater or air not sufficient for heat but still great place to be. There should be a different discount for veterans as i am a member and cant have both so it seems.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly. Multiple dog play areas and plenty of space to walk your dog.

Very nice campground. It's gated but we've been to several in bigger cities that are also. Check-in staff was great!

Stayed for a week with my husband in the private tent sites. Over all place was good. We had some noisy not so kind neighbors that made it difficult. Staff was good, only issue we had was when one staff member yelled at us telling we were going to fast through the gate when we were not. Even stopped at the gate to insure it closed. I can see us staying again.

We were just able to stay overnight because we had to take our RV for it's annual maintenance check and then head back to Kansas. The park is always so nice and clean and the staff is just so friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will be able to stay for a longer period of time sometime. Thanks!

No hot tub. I would not have booked the stay.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Dear Guest, we have an all year round 24-hour Hot tub. The only reason it would be closed if a storm was brewing in the area. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin. We checked in late. They have a security gate where you punch in a code to get in. The security gate is only closed during the night & you can go in and out. The man who gave us the key to the cabin also escorted us to the cabin as well. We are traveling with our dog. The cabin had everything we needed. They even had dog dishes and an individual snack bag for dogs. They have 2 fenced in dog runs. There was plenty of room for your dog to get some energy out. We only stayed one night. Our cabin was spacious and the refrigerator was good sized for those who plan on staying for a week. We were impressed with what we saw during the day when we took a quick drive through. There was not much green grass, but for us that did not matter. There was a play area as well as swimming pool & hot tubs open 24hrs. We will be planning on returning and making our stay longer.

Very nice KOA. Little pricey and not extremely convenient to get to but it was nice all the same. Laundry, showers, mini golf, kids play area, multiple pet areas, pool and cabins. Not a whole lot of choices in the convenience store but will get you by in a pinch. It is a little noisy with the highway so close.
