Tent Reviews

Nice location, beautiful mountain views, and good amenities. Bathroom and showers were clean and very welcome. Tent sites are small and too close together for my tastes. We did easy outings to Joshua Tree and the premium outlets. Front desk was friendly.

My stay was brief. I arrived late, slept and hit the road. But, I found the facility to be clean and well-maintained. Teresa helped me at check-in. She was pleasant and professional. She also promptly answered a question I emailed prior to arrival. Good experience overall. Thank you!

We just stayed for one night in tent area. Camp grounds were quiet, restrooms very clean. Will come back again.

My first time visit to this location in Banning, CA. I enjoyed the rural setting set against the mountains to the south of the campground. The facilities are maintained and clean. I would definitely return again.

I was disappointed that the restrooms were locked between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am. I tried to enter the restroom at 7 am and it was still locked. I camp in a tent and do not have another source. I was told that people in the area were trashing it at night. Still, it doesn't seem right to lock the only restroom available to a tent camper.

Bathroom/shower were great. Happy to have a hot shower in a clean place. The low marks were because our neighbors took our tent space before we got there. But, it was too cold & windy as the evening went on so we slept in our car & left right away in the morning. I usually do enjoy KOA

For the tent sites. The grass needed to be cut. And the picnic tables are about ready to fall apart

The staff was terrific and very helpful. Unfortunately, they are not very prepared for tent camping. The weeds were severely overgrown and once mowed, left tall stalks that poked up into the tent. There was no surface on which to put a tent, such as gravel or concrete. Although they claim to have wifi, it is so slow that it's practically useless, even for e-mail. Won't be back with a tent.

One lady was nice work with other lady was not. It was advertised has a recreation room it did not. No water at campsite. No heat in bathroom. Terrible water pressure at shower. Worst KOA we been at.

I love this campground! The restrooms were modern, clean and safe. The pool was well maintained and had umbrellas and deck chairs. I tent camped and was able to camp under a tree! My spot had a firepit, picnic table and grill. The water pipes were leaking but useable. I stayed a extra night because I felt safe and relaxed. Front desk was very friendly. I will return!

Tent sites need something to help break the wind and water to be fixed most sites couldn’t get water.

Koa is fittable to my travel style. Very good! Thank you!

Bathrooms were clean and well maintained, the only issue was the lock on the door was faulty one night and we were unable to access the ladies room, so we all had to use the men’s bathroom. The campsite was level, clean, no bugs, with shade. The picnic tables could be redone as our table was missing over half a bench.

We ended up packing up early because of a big storm hitting the area and we didn’t want to get caught in the storm with our tent and toddler. But, before we packed up we were impressed with the cleanliness and size of the tent sites. The bathrooms were clean and there were enough for the amount of sites. The employees were friendly. We will be back!

Very nice stay. Friendly staff. Beautifully remodeled bathrooms. Clean grounds. One thing though, I didn’t see any signs posted regarding rattlesnakes. We removed one from our campsite, someone else removed one about 50 yards from us and another camper stated he saw one the previous evening. Just a thought. Maybe it is posted somewhere and we just didn’t see anything.

1st time visit to Banning Stagecoach KOA Journey For 1 night. Tent camping. This is the 3rd KOA property I have visited so far since I became a member of the summer of 2023. Banning Stagecoach KOA Journey is located on South San Gorgonio Avenue south of Interstate 10. It can be reached by taking the South 8th Street offramp. Head South. Then left on West Lincoln Street. Then, right on South Gorgonio Avenue. The entrance is on the right side just past Banning High School. The campsite is situated at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, which rises up to 10,000 feet above the valley floor. It is a very imposing sight to see from the campsite. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. I must admit I did not ask for their name. My apologies. I was provided with a map of the campsite, which allowed me to find my tent site for the weekend. Each site has a picnic table, a water faucet. The groundcover is grass. It makes it easy to drive the stakes into the ground. There is a volleyball court, dog park, swimming pool, playground, and showers. In addition, there is a clubhouse for large groups. The sites for recreational vehicles and campsites have their own space. It is a very quiet site during the day as well the night. Overall, it is a nice campground. Ideal for individual travelers, couples, groups, or families with or without children. And pet owners. I am looking forward to my next overnight stay at Banning Stagecoach KOA

This place is a dream come true when you've done this long enough to know other parks aren't so clean and the neighbors. Oh my goodness I love them all. I'm kinda shocked at how everyone keeps to themselves it's perfect. Also why are the past people complaining about over vegetation. I wish all the trees and bushes could take over my trailer cause in the summer who cares about the ants. It's heat I'm worried about. Other than that I've been here long enough to know this is my home. No complaints.
