Cave Junction, Oregon – March 20, 2024 – Today marks the grand opening of Cave Junction KOA, a pristine RV park nestled in the heart of Cave Junction, Oregon. Boasting a blend of modern amenities and rustic charm, the park promises travelers a welcoming escape amidst the natural beauty of Southern Oregon.
Owner Darrin DeRoule expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “It was important to us in our planning process to ensure that our sites were able to accommodate modern RVs, along with towable vehicles and toys, while still providing space for guests to enjoy conversations around a campfire, as well as amenities that meet the needs of modern campers.”
Cave Junction KOA features 63 spacious, full hook-up RV sites, predominantly pull-throughs, along with four deluxe tent sites sprawled across 9.63 acres of picturesque landscape. Surrounded by 360-degree mountain views and expansive skies perfect for stargazing, the park offers a serene retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.
Among its amenities, guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi access, immaculate restroom, shower, and laundry facilities, a fenced dog park, playground, nature trail, and an on-site camp store stocked with RV and camping supplies, groceries, cold beverages, and snacks.
“We’re campers, too, so we know what campers want,” DeRoule emphasized. “We took our kids out on the road to some spectacular places, but no matter the adventure, everyone gets back to camp and needs showers, dinner, clean clothes – Oh, and don’t forget their devices – While we encourage enjoying the great outdoors, we know that the ability to connect on devices is important to most people. We’ve got you covered.”
However, Cave Junction KOA aims to be more than just a stopover for travelers; it’s designed to be a destination in itself. Guests can immerse themselves in a variety of outdoor activities, including scenic hikes through nearby trails and fishing in the pristine waters of the Illinois River.
“We are thrilled to introduce Cave Junction KOA to the community and beyond,” said DeRoule. “Our goal is to create a haven where guests can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Southern Oregon while enjoying the comforts of home.”
Looking ahead, the park has ambitious plans for future development, including the addition of amenities such as a pickleball court, outdoor pool, and an expanded store.
