Too expensive for very little. We paid less money for a lot rent in San Francisco California than we did in Kansas. The rates ridiculous for the same amenities you can get anywhere else. On top of all that you don’t prorate when people leave early even if a family emergency came up and we had no idea we were going to have to leave until two days before. Do better.

Lots of rules, mostly grass and no where to put a rug, we were yelled at for putting a 2x3 rug at our step because it was partly on the grass.

My husband & I use our weekends away as retreats from life and this campground is perfect for that. Quiet and peaceful but close to everything. We will definitely stay again!

Only negative about this park is the train that goes by often. They do offer ear plugs that help while sleeping. Very friendly staff.

Front entrance, office and pool area are beautiful with lovely blooming flowers. The office staff were pleasant and helpful. The sites are VERY narrow with a very small green space shared with your neighbor.

We love staying at your KOA. LAST MONTH WE STAYED AT 9 DIFFERENT KOA'S IN 8 DIFFERENT STATES UP NORTH. BY FAR LAWRENCE HAS THE BEST KEPT LAWNS AND CAMPSITES. THE NEW FLOWER TREE YOU HAVE ADDED AND THE EXTRA FLOWERS AROUND THE LITTLE POND AREA SETS IT OFF. WE HAVE STAYED WITH YOU GUYS FOR SEVERAL YRS NOW AND THE LAST FEW WE HAVE GOT SITE 51, IT IS AN AWESOME SITE. THANKS GAIL WALTERS

Employee Chris is best thing about campground! VERY helpful! That said, campground is situated in a very lovely country setting, HOWEVER, they barely disclose high noise pollution from the incessant trains. Website creatively describes trains like something reminiscent of a bygone era...IT IS NOT! It's bad enough that when you check in the staff offers you ear plugs! You won’t hear them with AC!

We were passing through so just stayed for one night, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Beautiful area, level lots, fenced in pet area, quiet, lovely pool area, and the managers were amazing- answering several questions for these RV rookies. I would definitely recommend this campground!

This KOA is immaculate, nice little store, and staff is excellent. The dog park is among the best. However, the pull thru sites are buddy sites, therefor no top rating from me. Opening my door onto my neighbors door, or looking out my window into their private space, is not what I expect to pay for. So be sure to ask for a back in or non buddy site if this is also a deal breaker for you.

It was a nice campground with a lot of amenities. The pricing was too high. The trains running through there sound their horns at all hours of the night. Shorter RVs are parked on a hill, which requires leveling. The longer spots are flat, but desperately lack gravel, which creates mud. It does have a nice location just off the highway and the trains are not the fault of the campground.

We came in after the office was closed but we received texts and were given complete and thorough instructions on where to get our information which was very helpful! The property was very clean and the flowers were beautiful!!!

Very clean and friendly campground, lots of dogs that were well behaved and their owners picked up after them. Facilities were clean and updated, lots of wonderful shade trees. Campsites were interesting and had character with nice sightlines.

Stayed in a cabin. Hosts were nice enough to have firewood for us on the porch and the ac on in the cabin after a hot day. Only negative thing I could say is the camp store closes early and we couldn't get a cold drink and after a long day on the motorcycle we didn't feel like leaving.

What a great place! Stayed on a cabin and it was clean, neatly decorated, had all the kitchen supplies and linens we needed and was large enough for 4 adults and an infant. It was conveniently located to main attractions in Lawrence. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for one night. The RV park is clean & well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff. Tons of mature trees and an over sized K9 Paw Pen. Full hook- ups available. Internet speed was awesome. We stayed in the back of the park so the train noise was no problem. We would definitely stay here again.
