Being a first time KOA’r I was very pleased with all I encountered. The woman I spoke with at the office was very helpful and friendly. The campsite was clean and quiet. It was a very well maintained site. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay as always. This campground is clean, clean, clean and sets the standard for KOA Journey's. The bathrooms and laundry room are spotless and the owners are fabulous. We'll stay here every time we come through Mt. Pleasant.

Very quiet, pleasant. We liked being able to walk up the road for supper and to Dollar General for a few supplies.

One of the Best KoA’s and I have stayed at hundreds! My cable did not work and it took staff help for about 5 minutes to fix the problem. Great help. Special Thanks to him, it made my day.

Great! Suggest you create a berm in front of the sewer mound at site #47. It would provide a nicer view of the lake. Luv your park.

Good location. Quiet setting. Nice layout. At check in we were assured that we would be able to watch the World Series Game on their cable. NOT !!! I called the office and left a message requesting help but never got a reply.

We arrived a bit late, but the host was there - he was very friendly, and guided us directly to our RV site, showed us the hook ups etc... we were only there for a one night stay...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Jason and Amanda run a very good business. The grounds are taken care of, the bathrooms/showers are clean, and the amenities are nice. Jason helped us connect the cable TV. This is an owner operated business, and it shows.

Very friendly and efficient staff, good level site, clean park. I had booked a 30 amp site since it was all available at the time, but found I didn't have my 50 to 30 amp converter plug with me. Staff was super nice and loaned me one, which I returned the next morning. Very pleased with staff and park!

Front lady was very nice and welcoming. That makes the stay all that better. Clean washrooms and close to walk to restaurants.

This KOA is a great find nestled in NE Texas. Clean with great amenities and nice sites. Shout out to the super nice young lady that checked us in. She was pleasant and super helpful to make sure we had a great spot and through the check-in process. Wish more places had this level of staff working the offices!

I rented a cabin and I rented a space 35 I had an event to 10 when I came back somebody was in my spot and I had to request them to leave my spot I had paid for 3 days but I also had the cabin so I stayed up there the majority of time but I needed the spot to hook up and drain my sewer line and when I went to do that the line was plugged and I notified them of that and I didn't like the implicatio

I called twice, left message that didn’t get returned. I called the 1800#, message was also not returned. I tried to use the website, it wouldn’t allow me to,it was after 6.It was not when I started.Sign on door said to pick and empty site so we did and about half hour later there was knock on the door, we were in another persons site.no one on premise to assist. Someone arrived 1 hour or so

For use it has just been a one night stay. Heading towards our daughter house in TX from NJ. We have stayed 2 years in a row so far. The park is clean everyone is friendly. Our service dog loves the K9 park.

My wife and I stopped over at this KOA for only one night. It was really great and has improved 100% from the last time we stayed there, about 2 years ago. The owners were super nice and obviously has done lots of work on the place. Our sight was clean and the park looked great. We wish them the best!

We had one day left on a 3 month long rv trip, 5 hours from home. Check in was a breeze, the site was full hook up, level concrete pad, we just pulled in and left our 5th wheel attached, hooked up, and walked to Applebee's for dinner. We loved the grounds for a walk. Restrooms and showers were great. Close to the interstate but not too close...perfect!

Once we fixed the issue with the reservation it was fine. Somehow the phone call reservation didn't make it into the system and I was told that there wasn't a space available, this after driving almost 400 miles to that KOA. However they were able to find a back in space, which was fine with me.

Such a pleasant couple that own the campground. Because someone wanted to stay longer in the site we were assigned we were given a very nice upgrade to a premium site where we relaxed by the fire pit! All the staff there is very friendly. So easy to get level on the concrete pads. Easy on/off Interstate 30.

We had our leafsprings break on the way to Mt. Pleasant and needed a mobile RV mechanic to replace. Mt. Pleasant KOA worked with us and allowed us to extend our stay past the regular check out time. Not only did they extend the time, but they constantly kept checking on us to see if they could help.

I had been anticipating the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse for almost 7 years. When I researched appropriate sites for the event, the owner of tis KOA was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Over about a year of correspondence, she kept our 4 groups informed, and reassured that we were going to be near each other, and gave us some tips for the Block Party that the town was throwing for the occasion. They have some very nice spots for campers and RVs, nice facilities, and a pretty big doggie play area (Kamp K9!) It was so nice to be welcomed to the camp by the owner when my big party trickled into town. I hope to return for more adventures soon!
