The camp host Dee is fantastic. We have been camping for years and she is truly the best. Grounds are perfect , dog park is great.

This campground has to be the best i have stayed in over the last 50 years. The cabin was a delight, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The manager Dee, was extremely accommodating and very helpful. Plus she treated us like family. My husband and I are in our 80's and We are planning to revisit her campground again as soon as we can. I would give this KOA a 5 star rating.

We had a nice site along the river for our Class C, 29ft RV. Quiet campground, clean bathrooms with a large shower and private changing area. Friendly campers that came over to help my husband with an awning problem. We did not make reservations, but the owner was outside when we arrived and took the time to show us a couple of campsites. He was very pleasant as well.

The owner was great, took care of all of our needs. He also responded quickly to our text messages. The sites are a little tight, bath/showers ok, and I would consider the grounds to be ok.

Dee is awesome! The proximity to the casino is perfect and the cabin locations on the river are awesome. Will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful, relaxing time on our screen porch listening to the River. Had a little hiccup with the indoor water but Matt quickly got Dee over to get the water going again. She was amazing and comical. Matt was always seen out working hard on the grounds. Our lodge was very clean and comfortable. Thank y’all for a great place to stay. Looking forward to our next visit in the fall. Good job.

I stayed 5 nights to ride the North Carolina mountains—a great location from the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. The KOA is well maintained and the park's groundskeeper takes great pride in his work. This is the second time I stayed here and I'll be back.

Care taker was such a big help. She would do anything to make sure my stay went well. My tent site was clean and Wi-Fi was a great addition to camping. I did my laundry and washer and dryer worked great.

This place is quiet, peaceful and comfortable! We’ve been coming here for a couple of years. Dee and Matt are the best! One of the best KOA campgrounds we have ever been to!

Nice quiet KOA well off the road. Our site was mostly level if centered well and others look the same. Property well maintained and has a nice creek running through it. Woman's bathroom was clean. Near town for groceries, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay and will come back when we are back in the area.

It was very nice and I came after the office was closed but was registered already online. She the one in charge told us about a better cabin near the river. Was very peaceful and we had everything we needed inside the cabin. Didn't need the bath house. Thanks 73

The best KOA we have stayed at so far. Very clean and well kept camp grounds. The staff and camp host are very friendly and made our stay extremely enjoyable.

The place was very accommodating, to let us come in late and was very helpful in the morning to pay for our one night stay. The campground was very clean and quite loved it will be staying there again!

Friendly staff lady named Dee! Beautiful lazy river and views. Quiet. No traffic sounds for a change. Fun birds to watch. Clean, wonderful RR and Showers. Tree shade.

Very nice friendly place to stay. My dogs loved it also. It's clean and kept up. We would go back to stay again.

Trout season opened on Sat. April 6th so we made our annual opening day trip to Peace Valley KOA in Murphy. Matt & crew had the Campground in tip-top shape. We were greeted on arrival. As I disconnected the toad from the RV Dee got the paperwork up on her computer and we were on our way to our "back-in" on the Valley River campsite. The next 9 days were without a hitch staff helpful & friendly

Absolutely love this campground and will continue to go back. Sites are well maintained, bathhouse is really clean, and Dee is very attentive to the campers and needs. Love the huge fenced in area for our pup to run and play as well as the smaller camp K9 if you don’t want such a vast area. Right on the river and in an excellent location.

Stayed one night (last minute call) passing through the area. Quiet, friendly/helpful/accommodating staff. Clean. Beautiful river runs behind Campground. Period we stayed in our motorhome.

We left a message with CG and had a return call within minutes and got a site for the night. Very accommodating to us as we had no reservations anywhere that night and Matt told us to come on over! . The KOA was very well kept and very nice sites. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice KOA with easily accessible location close to Murphy. Dogs loved the large dog run along with lots of new sites and smells along the banks of the stream. We enjoyed the big patio site with comfortable chairs and table. Looking forward to our next visit!

You could not find a better campground any where. The cabins are a real delight being clean and having everything you might need, from frying pans to a toaster. I was surprised at having everything we needed except food. The manager is wonderful and very helpful, always asking if she can help. I rate this KOA with 5 stars and 10 tents.

We love going to Murphy/peace. Dee is the best. She is definitely part of our family now. If you want a peaceful and relaxing trip, this is it. We love coming up and going downtown to check out the shops and antique stores. Float down the river or just lay by the pool.
