Sites are to close together, water went out of service twice, worse KOA we have stayed at. Bathrooms needed cleaning , we will not be back to this KOA , the after hours phone service never answered. For the rate charged not worth it, need to invest in fire ant control, the best thing about this KOA was the of pizza !

Santee Lakes KOA has great lake access, ramp, & dock. The dock has very limited spaces though. Has good amenities if you have younger children (we don't). The bath houses are cleaned daily, but if you want to use them late in the day they could use a 2nd cleaning in the evenings. We noticed ants crawling on the outside of our camper, could use better ant control. Daily trash pickup was great!

water went out throughout the whole campground for a few hours in the evening. no answer as to what happened or when would be back. came back on around 10. kids crafts on saturday were suppose to start at 12. nobody had anything out or ready until 1245. other than that it was good stay.

We had a blast. The kids loved the pool and the basketball court. There is a small store onsite for basic amenities and food items. The only thing I’d like to see fixed was the mini golf course. It was free to play but many of the holes had the green coming loose and moving, and the boards used to create obstacles were chipped and made playing the hole difficult. We still recommend staying.

My family and I had a blast. It was the best campground we have been to with our kids. The amenities sold us. Now we are looking at only booking at KOAs. Thank you all for your hospitality.

There was no air conditioning in the bathhouse near campsite H8. Very uncomfortable. You almost needed to get back in the shower to cool off. Other than that it was a nice quiet stay.

Crowded. Camp store was lacking a lot of merchandise that you find in other stores. The lots were loaded with ants that got everywhere.

Everything at the campground was excellent and the staff was very courteous and nice. Overall my experience was very good and my friends enjoyed it too.

I have been camping for many years. Recently we had the privilege of staying at Santee Lakes. It is the most beautiful park we have ever stayed at. To make it even better it is staffed with the most generous, courteous staff I have seen at a KOA! WONDERFUL!!!!!! My Bride and I have decided that all trips we take from our home base in Orlando must all go through Santee going forward!

This is are third time here. It is a wonderful place. Well maintained in a beautiful location. Staff is super and we always question why we haven’t booked longer. We will return for a long stay. It is excellent. Bob Ball

Wanted a pull thru site. Got one that was not level and had no sewage. The route out of the camping area has a very sharp turn that makes it very difficult to drive a 45' coach around the trees without hitting them. This could be a liability problem for the park.

We love the environment. You have a beautiful park! You have made a nice improvement in one of your bathrooms, which is great! The toilets in that bathroom are consistently not cleaned and are disgusting. The regular cleaning of the toilets would be a great improvement.

We'll be back, some suggestions. Enlarge the dog park,you have room. The temperature in the bathroom are so hot, they need more ventilation. We were placed directly next to another camper when there were many sites open, maybe give people more space when possible. Friendy office staff.

We had a lovely site on the lake. The camp was clean and inviting. We were greeted pleasantly by the office staff and told everything we needed to know. I wish we could have stayed longer in order to enjoy all of the amenities.

Very pretty facility on a lake with lots to do. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only negative I found was the bathhouse was very warm, I could barely stand to go in to use the toilet. May be nice in the winter, but on a 85 degree day, unbearable.

I have stayed before. Love it here! All staff very helpful. This stay, they even sent their maintenance fellow to check my generator. He showed me the problem, how to adjust it myself, and totally saved my weekend at an event in Hartsville and the need to boondock! I'll be back in June �

Nice park. Big shade trees, pines. Well maintained. Lots are not paved or concrete. A little messy when it rains getting sand, bark, etc inside Rv.

We enjoy camping here. We have been here multiple times. We love the lake access, and the fact that you can order pizza on the campgrounds. The campground is very clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. We love this KOA.

Excellent sites and upkeep of grounds. Clean restrooms. Many activities for families available. Enjoyed the putt putt round. Has a pool, basket ball court, and a boat ramp. The environment was definitely nature. We seen many ducks, geese, squirrels, and other birds. The campground employees are very helpful, delivering fire wood etc and very friendly. RECOMMENDED 100% for quiet get away �ϋ�

The description provided by this KOA specifically stated that although they did not have cable service, they did provide Wi-Fi. Our campsite did not have Wi-Fi and we spoke to the front desk on two occasions about the issue. They said they would take steps to address it and this never occurred.

Easy access from I95 which was very important to us since we were bringing home a new-to-us motorhome. They had carryout food options and the Lake House restaurant was right next door which was great. Will stay again for a few days.

This was our third time visiting this camp site, it's so nice and relaxing. Everytime we visit we were the only blacks there but the people there are soooo nice and friendly to us. Everyone spoke and held conversations...We will be back soon for another getaway trip soon!
