Campground Reviews

I was in Shreveport to visit family and it was close and very comfortable except for the slippery pine needles that caused me to fall and bruise my tailbone. Nothing serious.

Great place for a stopover or more. Only thing missing was a hard pad.

We checked in and was given a very easy pull through site, seeing we're 45ft . The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is stocked with everything you would need and also lots of nice gift items.

Lots of road noise. Friendly staff. Not an area worth staying at more than one night.

The KOA was easy to find with well placed signage. The office was well organized. The staff was professional, engaging, pleasant and helpful. the grounds were well cared for, very clean and well lit in the evening. The individual sites were level. We needed to extend our stay one night due to weather conditions at our next RV Park, and he staff was most helpful. Pricing was very reasonable

Reception was warm and friendly. Pull through sight was concrete pad, level, and long enough we would not have had to disconnect our 42 foot 5er. Navigation to and from our sight was quite easy. Park and utilities are well maintained. Gas stations, Home Depot, Walmart, etc less than a mile away. Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Thank you Shreveport/Bossier City KOA.

This was our last stop on our trip to the Grand Canyon. And what a great way to end a 3 week Journey before heading home. Rodney was great at check in and explained everything the KOA had to offer. Nice clean campgrounds and will definitely stay again!

Nice long pull thru spot with full hook ups. Was an end spot with a concrete pad and patio with table and chairs. Nice dog park but no bags available. We had our own bags but trash can was outside the fence. Maybe have small one inside park. Nice that you could leave trash at end of site and they picked up. WiFi was just ok. Convenient location. Would stay again.

This KOA was a bit out of the way for us on this trip but we find KOAs to be the ‘safe option.’ This KOA was no exception. The teeny weeny concrete pad was level. It actually made setup a bit cumbersome even with my short trailer. I don’t normally unhook on overnight stays but with the truck off the pad and the trailer on the pad I had to move a couple of times. I would stay again, bottom li

Very accommodating. Exactly what we needed for our visit.

Very good location with no road noise. BUT, the main thing is Cable TV……. Totally makes the stay. I realize there is a cost for the owner of the park but, I consider it a must or should be…. I will go out of my way to stay here again.

The entrance his is very short, but still too steep for our Motorhome. We made a left turn in and the back of the coach hit the road. I asked the office about the entrance and they claimed they were unaware of the issue. I walked back to the exit and could clearly see numerous scars in the asphalt. I recommend entering and exiting with only right turns.

A perfect stop for a couple of days. Shaded, grassy, and long pull-thru site. Both large- and small-dog dog parks with agility equipment, shade and lots of space. Had an amazing Cajun/Creole dinner at Orlandeaux’s. They have moved to Lakeshore Drive.

We were a late arrival and everything was all ready and waiting for us. The park was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again if it is on our next journey.

Overall a nice place to stay. I have one small issue it is with the showers. There is no place to put your shampoo bottles and no small bench outside the shower.

Very nice! Clean and well maintained. Sites are long and easy to level for those of us who don’t have leveling systems.

- Overall very convenient for a stop over stay when travelling. Safe and close to highway. - Young couple that run the place are very friendly and most helpful. - Approx 25% of CG is with rigs that don't move. Some borderline unsightly. This does not ruin the experience, but it was enough to deserve a mention. - Sites are a bit narrow and close to each other but we were on the end so had a little extra room. - Location is less than 10 minutes from all big box stores and groceries. - Location is within a few miles of exit 8 from Interstate 20. Very convenient. - General area is not busy at all. - Interior roads are a bit narrow but they do accommodate Class "A" as well as our 36ft 5th wheel. There are no stumps/roots/low branches to cause issues. - Some sites are more in the trees thus more shaded than others. Everyone we asked recommended "Orlandeax" for lunch/dinner. They are a seafood place right on the big river; very scenic and food is really good local cuisine. Be prepared to wait for seating, this place stays packed.
