It’s a typical. Older and in need of care. Roads and sites are adequate. Concrete site pads are crumbling and electrical pedestals are worn out. However, everything works and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Grass needs to be properly cut and clumps raked out but everything else there is excellent. Great park with friendly helpful staff at a reasonable rate. Convenient to freeway without noise and close to retail services.

Super clean facility and very friendly and helpful staff. They were very understanding and flexible with us when we explained that due to weather conditions, we would arrive late... and stay an extra day

We stayed one night on our way to South Carolina and another night on our waay back. Very nice plce, friendly and helpful staff, love the dog park with all the challenge activities and seperate pens. The only complaint I have is the dish washing station was clogged up and I could not use it.

We overnight on our way to/from Pensacola several times a year. This KOA is conveniently located and has a very accommodating staff.

The staff here is very helpful, friendly and well meaning. The facilities, though, are pretty run down and lots of things - e.g. washing machines, restroom keypad - are in disrepair. The whole shaded front porch was dirty and dusty and the fans were off, which was disappointing because it was a very hot day. Despite the sincere efforts of the staff, I would not return here.

I have a 2022 Newmar Dutchstar. The slot they put us in was so un level that my Rig would not self level, the code on the panel kept saying “Slope To Severe”. We had to move to another slot. We have stayed there in the past, but this time it was so run down, it was not even mowed/weeded, very disappointed. It looked like a Junky Trailer Park. The girl running the office though was. Just an overnight stay on the way thru to Texas. Overall nice park, the person working the office was super friendly and helpful. The grounds looked like they were in need of mowing/weeding, etc.. Pull thru spots were level, though could use some fill dirt/rock around the concrete pad. Tried the cable, was fuzzy on our tv, ended up just using the over the air channels.

Front office staff was outstanding. There were several rv's just parked as if in storage around the grounds in the grass. There are a lot of full timers in this park. Noise from interstate in back was very noticable at times. In front of park time when we stayed here before we didn't hear the interstate. It is close to I-20, Walmart and several eating places.

Facities were fine but KOA needs to get with the current times in regard to Free Internet service. I understand that 50MB can't be provided without additional cost but 750KB is grossly insufficient. I struggled to perform any type of Internet search or browsing. Streaming can be achieved with 3MB, more or less. KOA needs to step-up their game

- Overall very convenient for a stop over stay when travelling. Safe and close to highway. - Young couple that run the place are very friendly and most helpful. - Approx 25% of CG is with rigs that don't move. Some borderline unsightly. This does not ruin the experience, but it was enough to deserve a mention. - Sites are a bit narrow and close to each other but we were on the end so had a little extra room. - Location is less than 10 minutes from all big box stores and groceries. - Location is within a few miles of exit 8 from Interstate 20. Very convenient. - General area is not busy at all. - Interior roads are a bit narrow but they do accommodate Class "A" as well as our 36ft 5th wheel. There are no stumps/roots/low branches to cause issues. - Some sites are more in the trees thus more shaded than others. Everyone we asked recommended "Orlandeax" for lunch/dinner. They are a seafood place right on the big river; very scenic and food is really good local cuisine. Be prepared to wait for seating, this place stays packed.

I gave only 4 stars because we could not use our satellite. Trees. Other than that, the campground is really nice. Pretty trees and bushes. Basic, but nice, big concrete spaces. Recommend if you're in this area.
