West Palm Beach / Lion Country Safari KOA Journey General Information

For Your Enjoyment:

• Firewood Policy: We do not allow any real wood or ground fires. Instead, you may bring your own fire ring that sits off the ground and burn artificial logs or charcoal.
  
• Check-In: 1:00 PM for RV and Tent Sites, 3:00 PM for Cabins
  
• Check-Out: 12:00 PM for all site types
  
• Pool hours: 9:00 am to dusk, and the pool is heated during the winter season.
  
• Quiet Time: Respectful quiet from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM for peaceful slumber
  
• Visitors Policy: Visitors are welcome, with a maximum of 6 people at a time. Visitors must check in at the office for a Visitors Pass.
  
• Laundry: On-site facilities available (additional charge)
  
• We allow a maximum of 2 non-aggressive pets per site, and pets must be on a leash at all times. 
  

We're delighted to welcome your furry friends to our campground! For RV sites, we allow a maximum of 2 pets per site. You'll find multiple dog walk areas throughout the campground, along with our KampK9 fenced area where your pups can frolic off-leash to their heart's content!

Please note that our cabin and tent site rentals do not accommodate pets. Additionally, while exploring Lion Country Safari, pets are not permitted. However, complimentary kennels (requiring a refundable $5 deposit) are provided for guests with pets visiting Lion Country Safari. To reserve a kennel or learn more, swing by Lion Country Safari's main office or call (561) 793-1084.

While we love all animals, please also note that our campground does also have certain breed restrictions for insurance purposes. Pitbulls, Pitbull mixes, Dobermans, Chows or Rottweilers are not permitted. 

We're committed to ensuring both you and your furry companions have a paw-sitively fantastic time with us!

At our campground, we prioritize safety and sustainability while ensuring you have an unforgettable outdoor experience! 

Campfires: While traditional wood fires aren't permitted, you can still enjoy a cozy ambiance by bringing your own fire ring, elevated 18 inches (46cm) above the ground.  Please use artificial logs like Dura-Logs to create your warm and inviting atmosphere.

Grilling Options:

• Tent and Cabin Sites: Charcoal grills are provided, perfect for outdoor cooking.
  
• RV Campers: Bring your own grill (propane-friendly) to enhance your stay with delicious barbecue delights.
  

Please note that only charcoal grills are provided at tent and cabin sites, ensuring a safe and enjoyable cooking experience for all our guests.

• Convenient Shopping: Weekdays (Sun-Thurs): 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  
• Weekends (Fri & Sat): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Monthly reservations are fully booked from January 1, 2024, to April 18, 2024. Short-term rentals are available during this period.

Welcome friends by obtaining a Visitors Pass from the office. A day charge applies if visitors are using the pool facilities.
