ANNUAL MERAMEC CLUSTER DOG SHOWS - September 12-14, 2008
THREE RIVERS KENNEL CLUB SHOW - Friday, September 12
MISSOURI RHINELAND KENNEL CLUB - Saturday, September 13 & Sunday, September 14
Both are all breed dog shows, obedience trials and rally trials and are licensed by the American Kennel Club. Show times 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Sullivan, Missouri (5 miles from our campground).
PIONEER DAYS - DEFIANCE, MO - September 20 & 21, 2008
The Daniel Boone Home & Boonesfield Village in Defiance, Missouri serve as the setting for a pre-1840s folkways festival and encampment September 20 & 21, 2008.
There will be artisans, music, and good food. Experience life on the early Missouri frontier and learn about Daniel Boone's legacy.

OLD IRON WORKS DAYS - October 11 & 12, 2008
This unique event attracts thousands of visitors each year at the site of on the site of the Maramac Iron Works in Maramac Spring Park. There will be live music, food, crafts, and demonstration of trades common in the 1800s.
Tour the museums on the grounds or take a walk around Maramac Spring and the trout hatchery. The beautiful spring produces 96 million gallons of water per day.
The cost to attend this event is $5 per vehicle. The park is approximately 47 miles from our campground.
Are You Hungry?
After a long day on the road let us do the cookin'. You can enjoy a tasty pizza or hickory smoked BBQ at Cricket Cafe daily from 4 - 7 p.m.
