The owner Jamie went above and beyond to accommodate me. The kampground was peaceful and a wonderful place for dogs. It was quiet, safe and clean with all the amenities. By far one of the nicest KOA’s I have ever stayed at!

The host is wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. We loved the furry welcome from the six kittens, Mama Cat and Romeo the dog! Very pet friendly. We wished the cabin had a fridge.

At first thought very small. After meeting the staff who were all very friendly. We enjoyed the small campground, along with the amenities. Would camp here again.

An older gentleman with a white beard was extremely rude, yelled at us for parking on the grass instead of on gravel behind the cabin. This is our 12th KOA cabin rental. We’ve parked on grass (at another location), no issues. I know every campground has own rules. He could have simply talked to us. We will NOT be staying at this campground again.

Never again! No one greeted us even though there was someone in the office. Trash bags and vehicles collecting trash were scattered all over the place and in the way. Campsite pictures need to be updated, they were definitely taken during the "glory days" of this campsite. Cabin was freezing and took a long while to warm up.

Hello, you camped with us the end of December, we are closed for the season, and that is clearly stated on the website, limited facilities. The vehicle you saw with trash in it, is our work truck. and yes we pick up trash from the dog parks, and we were cleaning out our sheds in our off season.

The sites are all wooded with plenty of shade. The showers could use some upgrading (felt like needles with high water pressure through a tiny shower head) but overall we will come back next year for another family trip. Everyone was respectful of our stuff and our site.

The super friendly staff made me feel like family from the first moment that I arrived. Amenities such as the pool and public spaces were all very clean And inviting. Looking forward to my next camping adventure here

Grounds were kind of cluttered; pool area had toys that could have been picked up and broken yard lights, which all is a first impression kind of thing. Cabin we reserved said it had space for up to 7; even double checked my reservation..but there was only one full bed and a twin bunk. We had 5 people, so not sure how that happened. Made the most of it. Restrooms were clean.

I gave it a 4 because it is a “Journey” rather than a “Holiday” so naturally it doesn’t have as many bells and whistles. We only did an over night so did not use the pool etc. But cabin was clean and conveniently located to bath house. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Would stay again.

We tent camped. Spot was great. Close to amenities. Workers super friendly. Great local suggestion where to eat- Checkers. Found german food there. This place was a win in all categories. Thank you

This is an awesome spot to camp. We had a small problem with the electrical post. My husband walked up to the office and they were at our sight within 10 minutes with everything they needed to fix it. The dog Park is nice. There is about 1-2 acre open tree area for kids to run around. They have coffee, donuts, ice cream Social, petting zoo over Memorial Day weekend. We will stop again when in the area. Clean showers and bathrooms!

What a beautiful park full of trees, kind staff members and a wonderful pool, clean restrooms with showers and a laundry in the office. The people staying there were all friendly, it has wood for campfires and a pump station for the sewer and a nice little store. Bonus foe Memorial Day weekend - a petting zoo for the kids! Awesome. Even my cat Luna, loved it!

Very nice people running the park. They were happy to accommodate our big unit and cargo trailer, but drives and parking are very tight. Some lots are very close to neighbors. Pull thru site-Got in ok, but it was tough to get around trees to get out. And that hill to get into and out of the park... even tho it was cranked all the way up, we broke off the foot and bent the shaft on my cargo trailer from it dragging the ground from the tight angle and hill to get into and out of the park. From the looks of the asphalt, it happens often.
