Everyone on the staff that we worked with where very friendly and accommodating! Had a bad storm roll in during our stay and staff road around checking on everyone making sure everyone was okay and if needed anything. With teenagers, wish they had a baseball court or more older boys to do. No pool, basketball, Ga Ga pit, pickle ball. Something more for active boys and girls to enjoy.

I have stayed at the Jonesborough/Cherokee NF KOA twice now while passing through the area. The campground has been clean and quiet both times. Easy access to rv spot, simple hook ups, gorgeous location. I gave a 4 only because I have not scoped out all that the campground has to offer. I will stay here again!

What a beautiful location along the Polichucky River. The staff were so kind and helpful and everything is beautifully maintained. We will definitely return.

Our first sign our stay was going to be a good one was my interaction with Gretchen on the phone to ask about the Campground. Second, the entire staff, especially Rhonda, was very welcoming. The beautiful surrounding, the Mountains, the River . . . all stunning. (not to mention the exquisite shower/restroom area) I hiked, fished, painted a rock, very relaxing time. Five Star for all of you!

The staff was amazing and friendly. The park is well cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked a week for next year. Can't wait to get back!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit! We had a lovely river side site. Showers were outstanding. Laundry room fresh and clean. All the staff were super friendly. My favorites KOA. I’ll be back ;-)

Beautiful campground with amazing staff! We stayed at one of the premium tent sites which was beautifully kept. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and the staff took the time to make sure we knew where everything was and what the rules were. The campground itself is located right on the river for easy swimming/fishing/tubing fun. Absolutely loved and would recommend!

Loved the cleanliness of the campground, bathroom/showers. Loved that this was a smaller campground. Felt very private and this was on Memorial Day weekend too. Would highly recommend.

This KOA deserves a diamond rating. It is in a beautiful setting right along the Nolichucky river. It is also the cleanest KOA I have stayed in so far. The bathrooms, showers and laundry area are spotless and centrally located. The staff are friendly and helpful! A must stay location if you are traveling through Tennessee!

Men’s restroom was hot with no air exchange making uncomfortable to shower. Also no trash pickup at campsite makes no sense as we always saw two to three employees in golf carts.

Absolutely great stay, the staff was very helpful, friendly and kind. The park overall is great, beautiful views of the river and nicely laid out sites. You couldn't ask for much better, especially in the great national forest area that it is. I will definitely be back here to enjoy a longer stay next time!

The hosts are FANTASTIC! Everything about this campground is GREAT!!! The showers and restroom...OMG! Your own personal bath mat, soooo NICE! This is the nicest facility I have stayed at to date! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I usually do not like to stay at a KOA, but the Jonesborough/Cherokee KOA is changing my mind! Beautifully landscaped right on the river, staff is very friendly and helpful. We did not tow a vehicle, but the staff delivered ice and a pizza as part of their service. We would like to come back again! We have a 31' Class A with slides on both sides and had plenty of room in our site.

This was our first camping trip to the Jonesborough KOA campground. It certainly will not be our last. We stayed at a site by the river. It was absolutely beautiful, and very relaxing. I feel like this campground is a hidden gem! The campground is very dog friendly, and offers a clean dog park for the pups to play in. Also, everyone that works there is very friendly! We will be back!

It was a wonderful stay for our first true camping and not touring. Mrs Rhonda was a great camp host and was so helpful! And you know me- I just love everyone!! Did have a little trouble dumping water from my van because it was so low to the ground. �

The campground was fantastic. All of the staff was so friendly and willing to help. The campground was well kept and the restrooms were very clean. The campground is located right on the river. Very nice! Our campsite was easy to access. We loved the Paw Pen! Our dogs had a great time! We would definitely go back again. Again a big thanks to all of the people that made our stay so enjoyable!

I honestly can't say enough about this campground! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and respectful. Gorgeous campground right on the Nolichucky River with direct and easy river access. Tons of amenities are offered at this location, including pizza delivery to your site, text updates during your stay, and a gift shop. Great location to surrounding areas all within reasonable driving distances, but honestly you won't want to leave! This campground is impeccably clean, staff are always easy to find, and bathhouses are spotless! ***Exceptional Customer Service - We booked a private site on HipCamp months ago to celebrate my birthday and Memorial Day Weekend, only after confirming with owner the details of our rig and that we would be able to access the site. After a 3 hour drive, upon arrival we could not get our 40ft fifth wheel into the site without permanent damage to our camper and tailgate. I reached out to this campground in hopes they could take us, at least for a night until we could make other plans. We passed this KOA on our way in less than a mile from where we supposed to stay. Ronda said come on for the night and that will give you time to figure something out for the weekend. I booked the one night and got settled in the site she had available. Within 1 hour Ronda came to our site to tell us not only did she get us in a spot for the night, she got us a spot there for the entire duration of our original trip. This woman went above and beyond and made our trip possible, and we had the most peaceful and relaxing weekend. Ronda, you and your staff are top notch, thank you so very much for a wonderful stay at a gorgeous location. You are appreciated more than you know!

This is a great off the beaten path RV park, very impressive and beautiful scenery, nicely positioned spaces and beautiful views of the river! The staff is very helpful and friendly, the store is nicely laid out with a reasonable amount of gifts and needs! I will definitely stay here again, and probably much longer next time to enjoy all the park and area have to offer! Thanks to the staff and ownership for making this a great place to stay!

Right on the Nolichucky River! Kind, compassionate, and friendly management! Loved the sounds of the river. Such a beautiful spot! I stayed in my RV, but there were very cute cabins on site as well. The facilities were super clean! Pizza and firewood available on site. Great for a mountain getaway in Jonesborough, or an easy drive to Johnson City, Bristol, Asheville, Cherokee, etc.
