Great staff and a place to stay the boys and i go every year for the last 3 years and will keep coming back

Everything was great! Awesome fishing, great activities, courteous campers, and friendly staff. However, T6 was downwind of the waste drop off from the RVs. We were smelling poop all weekend. I wouldn't want to stay in that spot ever again. Again, everything else was great.

We felt so spoiled, and we were tent camping! It was the greatest experience for me, my grown kids, and my grandkids. We are going to make it a regular occasion for our family.

Nice clean campground. Nice camp store. Wonderful staff. I would definitely stay there again. They had lots of activities for the visitors. They have a snack bar that was nice. The homemade milkshakes were excellent

Very good location, services are excellently maintained and the staff is wonderful! I would strongly recommend this location to anyone staying in the Richmond area. I only have 2 recommendations: 1. The campsites are *very muddy*, please put down some small gravel to fix that. 2. Vehicles on the highway are very loud at night, a sound barrier (wall) would reduce or fix completely.

What a sight for tired eyes this KOA was! Everyone there was wonderful, but Becky took extra great care of us in the kitchen. Thanks for a GREAT stay.

We checked in after hours but easily found our campsite info. It was a great location for us. We only used the bathrooms and showers before leaving early the next morning. We were pleases with the neatness and cleanliness. Good job!

This was by far the cleanest KOA we've ever stayed at. It's obvious the owner's care about their property.

A delightful campground with many fun extras (corn hole, fishing pond, swimming pole, etc.). My family camped over Father's Day weekend and the staff planned a whole host of activities.

You have a beautiful and well maintained campground. We enjoyed our stay so much even though it was only one night! Staff was very friendly and even stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed even though we arrived after hours. Thank you again, and hope to see you next year!

It was a great place to bring the kids, you had a lot of fun activities to do. And I love how you kept us updated on the events about to happen because normally I get caught up doing things and would have forgotten. We definitely want to make this a tradition camp outing before the kids start school. This will be something they never forget.

Relaxing and fun stay. Not complaining but wish tent camping was a little cheaper. I understand costs have risen for everyone. Still fun no doubt and we will certainly be back.

We had a tent site. The tree shade was a nice to keep the sun off our site. The issue is that the trees need pruned. Most trees at our site and the sites on either side of us had plenty of dead timber. Thankful that the storms were not very windy. I would love to see the trees trimmed of dead branches.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Those are hedgeapple trees and the bottom branches tend to not have leaves but provide great shade. In the future, if you let us know during your stay we will address the situation in a more timely manner. Thanks for camping with us!

This was a great overnight stay without a reservation. It was a quiet park but nice staff and campers. The dinner we had prepared by the staff was outstanding and was delicious. If we are ever in this area again we would definitely return here.

We love coming here. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. They have so many activities you woulmt get bored between fishing, trail, ping pong, corn hole, putt putt, pool, bikes, fireplace, play place, and staff lead games, it's never boring. If you want to just relax, the sites are far enough from the action you won't hear much.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: We stayed just 1 night in this KOA park and loved every minute!!! From the check in to the check out, we give their place a 100% score on friendliness, cleanliness, and the list could go on and on. They even have a little cafe set up so when you get parked after a long day of driving and traffic, there's no need to go outside the campground for food, not steak and potatoes mind you, but still good and filling AND they even bring it to your RV spot in the park… what GREAT service!!! Makenzie, you're the best! Thanks for a great time, we've already decided to make this campground as often as possible! Mike and Jessica Nichols ❤️
