Our stay was good. Had an issue checking in where the door code we were given didn't work. Contacted front desk and they had someone correct (wasn't setup with our code). Wall clock didn't have a battery- not a big deal. BUT, the smoke detector in the room didn't have one EITHER. No sense in having a detector if it doesn't have a battery.....false sense of security.

I love this Koa. Everyone on the trip agreed that it was the best cabin we’ve stayed in. The grounds were immaculate and gorgeous. I loved walking the dog to the bay each morning and evening. The air conditioning wasn’t central air but three separate wall units that kept the cabin nice and cool. Every employee we saw was super friendly too!

We've stayed here several times each year for 6+ years. This was probably our most pleasant stay. Park changing and improving. Keep up the good work (-:

Had a family vacation. Some stayed in one of your cottage and some had a camper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very helpful. Loved the activities that you had. Facilities were extremely clean.

If you’re in a tent, it’s the most UNPLEASANT spot we have found! When the sun goes down that’s when it gets BRIGHT out, they have bright bright spot Lights pointing straight at the tent sites along with you will be on the MAIN drag so yes EVERYONE has to drive by for Entry/exit And there is no rule on music while driving into the camping area. Not recommended W/tent

Only 2 things that I can say good about this KOA, 1. Sherry is kind and has a great sense of customer service. 2. The bathrooms are nice. Your ads for your campground are misleading and do not give the true content of the campground has to offer. I am truly sorry that I wasted our time coming. I was highly disappointed.

The park was clean. The staff were all very nice. The only problem we had were the work campers two spots down that had two black cats they let roam at will. I have to keep my dog on a leash when outside and they should have those cats contained as well.

WE like to re-cycle plastic and glass but, was amazed to find out that KOA doesn't re-cycle anymore. Suggest that KOA resume re-cycling.

Nice place but so many grass burrs where you walk your dogs. Spaces are close together. Maintained well. We tripped over the water pipe and fell on our site as it was sticking up in the middle of division between spots and hard to see at night. Close to everything in S. Padre

I stayed 6 months and enjoyed my stay tremendously. It was fun getting to meet the new employees and see the previous ones as well. I walk a lot and love to do evening walks. Bruce and Jerry Ann were always looking after me and making sure I returned home safe. Dottie was very helpful in the office. I had an issue with overgrown weeds and Bruce took care of it immediately. Concern: false recycling

This was our first time to be on SPI. Staying at the KOA was a wonderful experience. All of the staff were friendly and willing to help. They made rounds all morning picking up trash. When we arrived at the park, they led us to our site and assisted spotting in on the site. Swimming pool was in excellent shape and clean.We stayed one month at the park. We are making future plans for another trip.

The Office staff was always very helpful. The Amenities are 'Top Shelf"! Cleanest bathrooms with plenty of Hot Water.

Everything great as always. Would suggest to conisder a gym, weight room. As well better wifi, signal is not great and keeps disconnecting. That would make stay complete.

Park pool and hot tub need to be updated and sites are tricky getting into and out of with big units. Overall nice park and great Location.

I am so glad I get the opportunity to take this survey because one way or the other I was going to let you know just how amazing of a time we had at the KOA in South Padre number one in my books was the customer service; from the time we pulled up and met Dottie at the front desk till the time we left, the staff were so friendly, courteous, and there if you needed anything! Campground immaculate!

The cabin is adequate for a very short stay. It is tiny. It comes with no amenities. Other than a small microwave, keurig coffee maker & a tiny refer. No cooking / eating utensils. The only sink is in the bathroom. The AC unit is so loud, it vibrates the whole cabin. Ear plugs are a necessity. The campground is nice, employee's are friendly. Bottom line - you pay a lot & get very little.

Loved the heated pool and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also love the crafts for the kids and all the activities you have for kids and adults.

We have wintered there for the past 7 years. The new manager, Kristi is doing wonderful things at SPI. The park has never looked better or been as clean. New table and chairs on the Sunset Deck, pool and some patios look great. Looking forward to our return next winter.

Winter Texan here. We stayed six months in our class A RV. So many pluses: beach time, walking, local restaurants, shopping, and a front row seat for all the SpaceX launches. The staff are friendly and helpful: management is looking out for the campers and the campground. Need some help? Just ask. I especially appreciated the evening staff: Jerry Ann and Bruce always make me feel safe after dark. Thanks to everyone!
