Fun Things To Do In and Near Dublin Whether you're a history buff, a soda fan, or want to get more in tune with nature, Dublin and the surrounding local areas have something for everyone! In about 20 miles you can have your pick of activities and attractions.  

  • Stephenville offers shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
  • Hico is known for its historic downtown area, antique shops, and the Billy the Kid Museum. 
  • Comanche offers historical sites, outdoor recreation opportunities, and a charming downtown area.  
  • De Leon: Approximately 20 miles southeast of Dublin, De Leon is known for its mineral water wells and the De Leon Peach and Melon Festival, held annually in July. 

Drive a bit further northeast and you’ll be in Granbury. It's known for its beautiful lake, historic downtown square, and cultural attractions. Our central location makes our campground a prime location for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors while taking in the culture and charm of Texas! The Ben Hogan Museum is a museum dedicated to the life and career of Ben Hogan, one of the greatest golfers of all time. The museum is located in Hogan's hometown of Dublin, Texas, and is owned by the Dublin Historical Society. There is no admission charge.The museum tells the story of Hogan's life, from his humble beginnings in Dublin to his rise to golfing superstardom. It features exhibits on Hogan's childhood, his early golfing career, his near-fatal car accident in 1949, and his incredible comeback to win the Triple Crown of Golf in 1953.
