POSITIVES: incredibly beautiful surroundings. Truly makes you forget that this nation is in crisis! Very quiet and serene during May. Perfect distance away from the tourist traps and frenzy. Campsites are fairly level and have beautiful patios. NEGATIVES: really just an observation, women’s bathroom was unlocked at all times. We love this campground. It is relatively quiet and close to activities and restaurants in CC. It is a wonderful closeby home away from home. Friendly and accommodating staff.

The open burning you all were doing was horrible. Smelling it all day was very off putting. It’s now settled in my chest. Maybe only do it in the morning for a few hours, then be done. Not enjoyable to sit outside or leave your windows open. Also, went to ask when the pool was open, she didn’t even look up when she responded. I felt like I was intruding on something.

We decided to book our stay at the Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA because we live very far from Canon City. We had a booth at the Blossom Festival and didn't want to take the long drive home every evening, so we decided to take our RV to the Royal Gorge KOA. We had a great time in the campground. It was very pet-friendly, and the staff was very accommodating, especially Armanda.

6mo stay - Office hours cut in half, varying daily with no notice. Snowstorm resulting in power outage for 3 days and over 18in of snow. No one on site, no snow removal ZERO communication from anyone regarding the power. Multiple requests for summer rates - no answer. Never received interest form, were told all spaces were taken for the summer and to make other arrangements. VERY POOR CUST. SERV.!

Not quite ready for prime time. Bit early in the season. Only downside was my neighbor being accused of being plugged into the wrong utility and water hookup. Just wasn’t the case, plain and simple! There solution to the problem was, we’ll come look at it AFTER you leave! That stinks, it’s ok to be wrong! I challenge you to prove me wrong!! If you’re gonna talk it, WALK IT! Last trip the

Campground was quiet, clean. There was a plumbing issue in the women’s restroom that was fixed very quickly. Restrooms were clean. We didn’t get to try any of the activities due to weather and the slide was down for maintenance. I would stay here again.

As the park was almost empty (still pretty cool weather) the staff put us in the closest sight to the restroom/shower. A short drive to the Bridge/Park.

We had a wonderful stay! Hands down, this was the nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed in. The spots were beautifully maintained, bathrooms were clean, and we loved the options for our dog!

Electricity went out at 6 AM. Restroom toilets were covered in poop and were unusable. Was told that the low temperature would be around 40 and it got down to 26 so our water hose froze. No one around to report or remedy this situations. Extremely sub-par for a KOA.

We stayed for 3 days and never saw any staff. We thought it was a one of that nothing was left for us when we arrived. Other campers then came to ask us where the staff was? They as well had no idea which was their camp site. We had all prepaid. Very unprofessional.

The office was only opened about 4 hours a day. Would have liked to have it open longer to get info etc.

Decent campground. Lots places close by. However, if you have a larger camper the campsite is really not accommodating. Tight corners, trees in the way, plug ins require extensions, same with utilities.

Staff very accommodating. Large lots and nice views. If we had done our research, we would have stayed for a couple of days to participate in the neighbouring activities. Nearby is a very nice gift shop.

Jill and Aaron were so helpful and welcoming! The issue I had was with the frozen water spigot, preventing me access to it for NINE days. I didn't know to unhook from the pump; the 1st text about it only said to turn the water off, after a couple of days, the 2nd text informed us to unhook the hose completely. I have never seen water spigots so high and think that was the reason.

Very enjoyable. It is within easy access to Royal Gorge and to Canon City. Very nice camp sites, clean bathrooms. I didn't make use of the kids' amenities like the mini-golf or slide, but I imagine those would be fun for families.

Joy at Royal Gorge KOA was great. Notice an issue, it was taken care of right away. We love the Paw Pens.

The dog kennel is golden! We have a very shy dog who won’t use the restroom that’s not her backyard. Traveling is always fun but that kennel saved us. For the first time she went that night. Bathroom were clean. Patio was spacious. Workers were friendly. Close to the Royal Gorge but also close to town and lots of trails.

Great campground! Way off of the freeway with no noise and has great views. Could see the Royal Gorge Bridge lit up at night. Level sites back of office.

Had a great stay...very clean campsites,rest rooms and showers very clean. Shower doors don't lock need to fix them. Would stay again.

The campground is great the customer service not so much. I requested that a couple of small tree branches be trimmed as they were hitting our coach. they put it on a list. They never got trimmed after 4 days. I then needed propane and was told the person wasn't there that day but would put me on a list. I went into town to get it after seeing how the "tree list" worked out.

We stayed at your resort last year the same weekend we were very happy with our stay enough to rebook for this year. One thing I might suggest and I know it’s hard right now with staff that there was nobody there. Office was closed at 5 o’clock on Saturday night we were going to have pizza for dinner and we’re surprise it was closed, and last year we had excellent staffing service

Royal Gorge KOA was amazing. The staff was friendly, the facilities including pool were clean and up to date. The location was super close to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. We especially loved our site which had a private fenced dog pen. I would definitely recommend staying here.
