This was a really nice location nestled back off the beaten path and no highway noise, but at the same time close enough to decent amenities. It was a nice place for an overnight stay and would potentially go back for a longer stay.

Site was level and we got both dish and starlink. Only issue was drivers side grass was muddy and saturated-site 36. 37 may been better. 35 is a patio site for more $$.

We only stayed for a night, but found the campground to be clean and quiet, it’s nice that you’re far enough off the main roads that you don’t hear any traffic noise. Would have preferred a shady spot, but we were happy with this place. They had a nice kids playground and a small pet play area. Friendly office staff!

Was only there 1 night but the campground was one of the nicest KOAs I've been to. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The road in and out is narrow, with a narrow bridge, but there is very little traffic on it, so it wasn't a problem. Just be prepared to take it slow and easy. IT's well-worth it though!

We stayed for 3 nights and unfortunately it rained. We were in a site that held LOTS of water and flooded out. We brought two dogs who didn’t really have area to play due to the flooding. We walked them to the K9 area which let them run off steam. We pushed through with mud inside and out and many dog baths. If forecast calls for heavy rain, do not rent out that site. The park was clean!

One of the best KOAs we have been to in the last two years. Beautiful wooded campsites, friendly staff and so so quiet at night. Will definitely come back here again for multiple days next time.

The owners are really nice, the young lady that works in the store very helpful and friendly. The only down side was we had heavy rain and due to that had to take a detour to get to the campground but it has nothing to do with the campground

We have stayed three times for three days each and the WiFi has never worked. The campground needs work on drainage because rain floods the sites and turns everything muddy for days. The staff is friendly but they aren’t the ones able to fix the issues.

This was a really clean, quiet well managed campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even extended it longer than originally planned. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We only stayed overnight during our trip but it was a nice site. The hook ups were off the ground and easy to use. They had just added more spaces. It was storming so we couldn’t visit the mini park but it was a nice area! Only thing I would say is to maybe mark the entrance road and exit. They were one lane dirt roads

Springfield KOA is a very nice clean campground, clean bath/showers. We would recommend it to anyone staying and touring the Springfield IL area. The campground may be a bit off the freeway, however the advantage is a very quiet, peaceful environment. No freeway or traffic or train noise. It is a short drive into Springfield. The owners are very friendly and work hard. We would stay there again.

This is one of our favorite KOAs. It was quiet. No highways, trains or Navel Air Station. The signs to find the park we're outstanding. We'll come again if we're in the area.

This was a lovely KOA - quiet w/o hwy or train noise, it was wonderful to wake to birds welcoming Spring & sunshine. Level sites and easy navigation. If I were to make 1 request - with the space that is seems is available, please make a GIANT mowed grass paw park - large enough that dogs can be let to run and get their road wiggles out.

Stayed one night...allowed us to check in early as we were passing through. Very clean bathroom and shower. Grounds were well maintained...pull through sites had lots of space...firepit was fairly new...owner stopped for a visit on his way to help a camper set...super friendly family owned

We have been coming to this KOA for over 10 years, this stay was by far the best one. The new owner has done so many improvements and it shows. They definitely take pride in their campground! Definitely should be a Holiday level. We definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

It’s a nice campground. The store was closed when we arrived around 1pm on a Sunday. I was in a hurry to visit the Lincoln Museum. I was not thinking about check in times. Most places don’t mind if you check in early if they have open sites. I didn’t see any information on what to do if arriving early. The sign just said the store would open up again at 2pm.
