Cabin did not have hot water or working wifi, but otherwise it was a fun stay with excellent amenities!

We had a blast! We enjoyed the ribbon cutting for the lazy river and meeting the team members, especially the manager and his wife. Everyone was awesome and the campground is the best and cleanest I’ve even been too! Can’t wait to come back for the week of July 4th!

The campground is centrally located, close to many area attractions. The campground is very clean and well-maintained. My only criticism, and it is a big one, this campground is located 3 miles near the Oceana Naval Flight Base. Fighter jets start doing flyovers a little after 8 a.m. until dark multiple times per hour. Our camper shook, our dog was petrified and the sound was deafening. Not quiet

This place is not big rig friendly, their escort took me into a very narrow route leading to damaging my 45’ coach. KOA’ insurance refused the claim and the General Manager refused to do the right thing and compensate me for this issue. If you have a small camper or a tent, probably a great place, if your rig is classified as a big rig, I would avoid it and stay elsewhere.

We didn't get a chance to use many of the amenities, but we still loved the offerings and are already planning our next trip back so we can do more. The staff was great as well

Great campsite location. VAB KOA is in an excellent location to go to places at the oceanfront ( trolley available) or just hang out at the campground enjoying the pool and other activities available. My grandkids and I had a great time even though the weather was less than pleasant. The staff worked hard to keep up the grounds and bathrooms, etc neat and clean. They have a separate dog area,too

The camp ground is very nice. It is kept excellent. I would not be back die the loud jet noise and for that reason I would not recommend it to my family and friends.

Your camp ground was very clean, employees were very pleasant, pricing was great. We had our grand kids with us and there was so much for them to, at the end of the day they were exhausted from playing and swimming. Highly recommend your camp ground. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

My family and I had a great time at the Virginia Beach KOA. The staff was extremely professionally and the campground is superb. Unfortunately most fo the weekend activities were cancelled due to inclement weather, but I will highly recommend this KOA to anytime looking to stay at a beautiful campground and location.

Internet very sporadic; cable was fuzzy; bathroom had a lot of plumbing problems while we were there. Stay was just ok; not great.

The new pool looks amazing. Bathhouses were very nice and clean this visit. Only complaint is that office staff doesn't answer the phone or have answers to questions.

This was the nicest and cleanest KOA that my family has been too. There were soo many activities for families to do all in one generally located spot. The location of the koa is perfect close enough to the beach with a trolley that runs right to it. The workers were polite and very helpful. My family will definitely be back!

This was our first stay at the VA Beach location and I have to say it has been one of the best KOAs we have stayed at. The park was clean, the amenities were fantastic with an incredible pool area, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the dog park was great (1st one we have encountered with water available for the dogs!). Overall, highly recommend this site and will be back soon.

I frequently visit VBKOA and at the last moment booked and could not get my normal site. Two days before check in I received a call asking if I wanted to be in my regular site.....I think it's awesome that the staff recognize their regular guests and accommodate you accordingly. This KOA has definitely become my home away from home.

We stayed in a basic cabin for one Saturday night, and it was close to the bath house. The property and bath house was very clean. Lots of people were enjoying the resort. We did not use the heated pools during the stay. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit and cooking up salmon, corn on the cob, and burgers for breakfast before leaving. I also brought everything I needed for s’mores!

While the facility and amenities are great, only maybe 1 or 2 staff were amazing! I actually had one get mouthy with me from a distance over a mild misunderstanding. As a paying guest, that just should not happen and has never at our several stays at Cape Charles KOA. Also, lots of sharp stump edges between the cabin and our designated spot for our vehicle which sliced my husband’s toe.

Very nice camp ground with lots of activities and friendly staff, bath house with nice hot showers and clean bathroom facilities. They have a good store on site with pretty much everything you might need while camping and I’ll definitely be going back again!

When I made the reservation I told them our RV was 40' and towing a car. We get there and they say the site is to short and we'd have to pay another $40 to get a bigger site. Or take off the car ( on a tow dolly, which we really didn't want to do ) so for $84 we ended up removing the car, using the antenna because the cable wasn't working. All in all it wasn't a good overnight stay..

I only stayed for 2 nights, but I plan to return and stay longer. There was plenty of entertainment for the whole family and the staff was very professional and pleasant.

We had a fantastic time, enjoyed the rental golf cart and activities at the campground! The pool looked great but it was cooler outside so we didn’t swim. Great staff, fantastic greeting even though we checked in at 11pm. All around great and will be back!

We rented a finished cabin. It was basically a really nice trailer home with AC/Heat, a nice queen bed, couch, bunk beds, and a normal bathroom and kitchenette with satellite TV. A couple without much stuff could probably live there permanently if they wanted. Noise insulation was also pretty good. Was very clean and the campgrounds are nice and have a lot of amenities. People who worked there were friendly and knowledgable. Only thing I will say was it was kind of expensive and if you are just a couple- I would do a normal hotel instead. However, it was a bargain for us as we had dogs with us and most hotels would either not allow it or charge a lot extra. If you have kids or pets its definitely worth it if checking out the Williamsburg/Jamestown area.

This KOA was fantastic, heated pool, and nice gift shop. We really enjoyed our paw pad. The person who drove us to our spot was very friendly and helpful. It really helps to have nice people when you are trying to relax on vacation.
