Campground Reviews

The bathrooms need upgraded to meet our standard of a KOA. We use KOAs often and have come to know they are usually cleaner, have more things to do and are overall better than the average campground. This one is not. The mini golf was unusable yet still listed on their site. Although they had a pet area, the large rocks did not allow our three legged dog to run around. No direction sign to leave.

Our stay was wonderful!! Beautiful views, spacious sites, awesome amenities, and friendly people!! Definitely would recommend and Definitely coming back in the future.

Nice campground but honestly, the men's bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Several of the shower stalls are missing their curtains and the toilets were literally filthy. Also, by morning all the toilet paper was gone every night I stayed there. I have never seen KOA bathrooms as bad as the one in Hurricane. And I travel a LOT.

Most of the time, we could not connect tp the internet. We were told that if there were too many people on line at the same time, the signal was too weak to be any good. Restrooms were clean. View was spectacular.

The bathrooms were disgusting. They were filthy they smelled. The camp sites were too close together. We did not have a picnic table.. It was noisy.. We left after one night. Had 2 scheduled would not have stayed if I could've got my money back.. The worst K away I've ever stayed at since I've been staying at KO A's for 30 years. We're not recommended to my worst enemy or a dog.

I stayed here while attending Matt’s Offroad Games at Sand Hollow. The facility was nice. Unfortunately, the weather was windy with rain. I’d probably stay here again if I return to the area.

All was good the first full day we were there (total of 3 days). After that, the bathrooms were not clean the rest of our stay there.

Campground is clean and the views are amazing!

Nice people run the place but sites are very tight. An overnight stop at best.

The cabins were very clean, pretty tight for myself plus 3 adult kids, but it was a blast. Highly recommend!!!

The only downside to the KOA was the wifi was weak and the phone reception was bad. Had a very hard time communicating with family.

The KOA was great. Easy to follow instructions to find our spot. They even had a spot that we could park our overflow trailer. The wind was atrocious most of our stay, but we know KOA is not responsible for the weather. There were no individual fire pits, which we wouldn't have been able to use anyway due to wind. Clean, Quiet, respectful and no problem with our full hook up spot. No good shade.

Nice camping sites, great hosts and accommodations. Just a little too far from St George if you have to run back and forth.

Clean place, nice office staff. Easy to move around park, no hookup interruptions.

Thank you for everything

Overall, my stay was very nice. The campground is very clean - including the restrooms/showers. The staff is very nice and helpful with any issues that you might have during your stay. The reason for the 4 - the area is not very cell phone friendly. The wifi is weak for the tent campers, if you park your vehicle in between the wifi antenna and your tent you will not get reception.

We went to the off road games, weather not so good but it was nice to come back to the camper and a clean campground. Very friendly people.

Great location, nice views, cabin was clean and comfy.

Very helpful and pleasant office staff! Nice campground.

I stayed in one of the tent sites and they aren't very good sites. They are at the edge of a hill which provides nice views, but doesn't block any wind. The campsites have nothing to block the wind so if it's windy there is nothing to stop the wind from hitting the tent.

This koa needs to work on bathroom cleaning, usually koa bathrooms are quite clean but we there for 5 nights and it was questionable whether the showers were ever cleaned. Often toilet paper was not restocked. We enjoyed the pickleball court though!

Good location for visits to Zion NP, lots of nearby scenic/historical/archeologic trails, and to St George. Relatively clean showers. Could improve on side-side leveling of RV sites.

Mary, who checked us in and went out of her way to insure our Site #67 was workable for our Sprinter, was WONDERFUL. Makes ALL the difference to have such a kind, competent host. Thank you Mary!

We stayed at St. George KOA watching for a weather break for our travel to Montana. We had originally booked thru 3/13/24. However due to bad weather down the road we asked for an additional night. No a available. The gal at the desk worked hard and found us a spot to move to. She was wonderful and so helpful. She went above and beyond. I wish I knew her name, she wears a scarf on her head.

RV sites on a hill and not very level! Other than that this campground was ok. Reasonably close to Zion NP. Also it was a bit far from I-15 too.

Beautiful view but so old. Picnic tables were in bad shape and the restroom was dirty.

Need better dog park area

I would score higher but mini golf was unusable. Pool cues and ping pong paddles were broken.

The park is nice however, the restrooms were terrible. They were dirty, only cleaned once during our three day stay and the women's restroom smelled like mold and an outhouse. We always try to stay where there are bathrooms with showers but will most likely not be coming back to this particular KOA.

Last minute reservation. Staff was great to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. Premium sites are very nice and we enjoyed having some space of our own. The location has good proximity to most things in Washington.

We found the campsite a little uneven. No matter what we did we were leaning. But the campsite was very quite and very clean.

Campground was very clean and kept up. We stayed in a tent site and it was as good as a tent site can get. The showers were filthy though. They say the bathroom closed daily at 12 to clean for an hour. We went in after and it didn’t look like much was cleaned. Old hair was left in the showers. It was kinda gross.

Access road to the north is closed due to construction so do not get off I-15 at exit 22. Get off at exit 16. Nice RV park. Gravel sites, paved driveways, dated bathrooms, great views, and of course some highway noise.

We (3 adults) stayed in Kabin 9 for 4 nights and had a great time. The view from the front of the cabin was incredible. The kabin itself was a little on the smaller side but that is standard at all KOA's. The kitchenette was a nice touch with a very good sized mini fridge and the bathroom was very large for a kabin. There was a chair on the porch which was broken in the middle, a fire pit (located behind the kabin, I assume to prevent the desert winds from blowing it out) and a bbq grill (you must use a lighter to light this but the kampground provides this). You are located directly across from a small state park area that offers some day hikes for a $5 fee (we didn't use this) and right down the road from Quail Creek. It was a 2 hour drive to Bryce and a 45 minute drive to Zion (both very doable). Though we didn't use it, the pool area was nice and they had a clubhouse with games that could be used. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The negatives: You are right off the express way so there is some traffic noise. The picnic table we had was made out of wood which is fine but it hadn't been sanded in a while so we got quite a few splinters. The septic system was able to be smelled while sitting outside from time to time and that wasn't a great way to spend the night but it would ho away about 20 minutes after the smell started.
