Enjoy it very much!

The KOA property was clean and well maintained even with the road to the KOA under construction. We enjoyed going to the near by reservoir as the beach was clean and the water clear. We enjoyed the amenities we just didn’t feel comfortable. My family and I were polite to everyone we saw but didn’t feel welcome. The staff was very kind and friendly but I don’t think we will be returning.

Missing TP, no paper towels and NO HOT water.

Lovely scenery! Nice staff! Showers and bathrooms are not the cleanest. Club house could use some cleaning too.

The road noise from the interstate was horrible at night, and the wifi was virtually nonexistent which was a pain. We were gone most of the time exploring Bryce and Zion and only slept there, so it was nice to be able to leave our tent and the items inside without any worries.

I would not stay more than one night here. Bathrooms were gross, they didn’t have toilet paper, there’s zero privacy whatsoever on the campground or the bathroom. We stayed at a tent sight and it took us a minute to find our fire pit bc it was located down the hill. I’d maybe stay again if I was in a pinch but honestly it was not worth the money I paid and would not go out of my way to stay

Location is beautiful. Unfortunately the noise from the interstate is overwhelming at night…. The canyon funnels and amplifies the sounds from the trucks.

Beautiful area..BEAUTIFUL stay..thank you..we will come again♥♥

My only complaint is the bathrooms. If they are being “cleaned” daily… someone needs some lessons on cleaning. Also some basic maintenance would be nice to keep things looking new. Curtains for each shower would be very nice as well. Those swinging doors are NOT a good option for privacy.

Short stay, but enjoy the facilities. Restroom and showers were clean as well.

The girl at the desk was most accommodating . She stayed at the desk past closing time to make sure we had everything we needed. The man that guided us to our spot was very helpful.

No hot water made for a dirty stay

Disappointed that there was not a picnic table at both sites that were reserved. We had one for both. I am surprised at the poor condition of said picnic table. The miniature golf is in horrible condition, holes all over the greens. While I recognize that this is camping the sink area was dirty with a broken sprayer. We were at this KOA almost 3 years ago and no improvements made since then.

Amazing views (but note the interstate noise is there). Staff very friendly and helpful. But.... the buildings all need cleaning (deep scrubbing) and repair. Bathrooms and showers are super dirty - these should be scrubbed out every day with the number of people coming and going. The sink to wash dishes near the pool also was in dire need of cleaning - and disposing of garbage laying there

Checkin was quick. Interstate noise is substantial. Clean facilities however mens shower could use minor updating (latches on stalls, paint on floors). More hooks in showers to hang stuff on. Picnic tables at the tent sites are getting pretty worn out.

The campground itself was ok, we had a tent site that was adequate and thankfully nobody stayed next to us because those tent sites were practically on top of each other. The bathrooms need a lot of work. I felt gross walking in the shower without sandals-they looked moldy and pretty torn up. And the “playground” was pretty bad-it’s usually something my kids look forward to but this one was

I stayed here while attending Matt’s Offroad Games at Sand Hollow. The facility was nice. Unfortunately, the weather was windy with rain. I’d probably stay here again if I return to the area.

Overall, my stay was very nice. The campground is very clean - including the restrooms/showers. The staff is very nice and helpful with any issues that you might have during your stay. The reason for the 4 - the area is not very cell phone friendly. The wifi is weak for the tent campers, if you park your vehicle in between the wifi antenna and your tent you will not get reception.

We went to the off road games, weather not so good but it was nice to come back to the camper and a clean campground. Very friendly people.

Great!! Spotty internet in site 130.

I stayed in one of the tent sites and they aren't very good sites. They are at the edge of a hill which provides nice views, but doesn't block any wind. The campsites have nothing to block the wind so if it's windy there is nothing to stop the wind from hitting the tent.

Campground was very clean and kept up. We stayed in a tent site and it was as good as a tent site can get. The showers were filthy though. They say the bathroom closed daily at 12 to clean for an hour. We went in after and it didn’t look like much was cleaned. Old hair was left in the showers. It was kinda gross.

Checked in late, had to search through all the files because mine was filed under wrong letter but I found it eventually. I had a tent spot. It was good. Listened to the frogs all night. FYI...There is a large sprinkler pipe break next to the playground that is running into the drainage ditch. I left before the office was open. Thanks for helping me feel safe during solo travel.

We enjoyed the clean camp sites and shower facilities. Lots of noise from the freeway when sleeping in a tent.

Great stay with easy check in

One day I was there, no toilet paper in one toilet and the other was clogged, so that was annoying

Filthy bathrooms whole place is falling apart. Not sure what happened to it. I remember of something much better. Looks Iike owner given up.

Everyone was polite and helpful Thanks to everyone!

We were very happy with the campsite- the tent area was flat and clear; the table and all was clean and comfortable. We loved the games available in the clubhouse. We were disappointed by the condition of the outdoor amenities, and the bathrooms. They look neglected. Overall, we were glad to stay at the St.George/Hurricane KOA journey.

Dirty bathrooms, loud freeway noise and they wanted to charge $30 for an hour and a half early check in when my site was ready and it would have cost them 0.

We booked because it had a pool. The pool was closed. If I had known sooner we would have gotten a hotel closer to the race track with a pool. The place was dirty. The miniature golf was all torn up. Plan on bringing your own firework because they didn’t have it on our trip. The tent sights were small. They have pits for the tents. If you have a large tent like we did you had to be creative.

Beautiful campsite but the location, it's too near I 15 hwy .it's very noisy in a tent .otherwise great stay very friendly staff.

I stayed in a tent site T5 and it is very small. There is almost no room to park. There is a gate that says “No parking Fire lane” I parked there anyway. This tent site should be removed. The rest of the campground was ok. Bring your own laundry soap as there is. O place to purchase laundry soap in the laundry.

Someone else was in our reserved spot when we arrived at 8:45pm so we had to pick a random open spot. Did not see an employee at all.

It seems like the tent sites are an afterthought. It was really hard to stake our tent because the dirt hasn't been turned over or repacked in what seems like a long time. That also made the ground extremely hard to sleep on, even with our layers of padding. There was also no shade at the tentsites at all, while RVs received trees. Some kind of shade feels necessary. And wifi unreliability is bad.

Kind of expensive for a tent site only.

Was exactly what I expected. Great people. Easy to work with. Would go again if I needed them again.
Oct 10, 2023
Wifi was horrible and cold showers. Tried turning the knob for water like the little note said in the showers. But no hot water at all. Campsites small. Only good thing is it’s close to Zion.

The place was decent, the golf course & the shuffle board were in need of repair. The lady was friendly & had a great sense of humor. The tent sites were nice, but right next to the highway. I didn’t get much sleep there. It would probably be better to have a trailer there.

Nice. Clean. Quiet except for the highway. Vert accessible. We were tenting so the highway was a bit of an issue but not so bad.
Oct 06, 2023
It was convenient. Disappointed the bathrooms were never cleaned while we were there however. Could use a good scrubbing, walls included. Freeway makes it a little noisy if sleeping in a tent.

I guess the only thing that isn't that great is that the office closes at 5pm.

Access road to the north is closed due to construction so do not get off I-15 at exit 22. Get off at exit 16. Nice RV park. Gravel sites, paved driveways, dated bathrooms, great views, and of course some highway noise.

We (3 adults) stayed in Kabin 9 for 4 nights and had a great time. The view from the front of the cabin was incredible. The kabin itself was a little on the smaller side but that is standard at all KOA's. The kitchenette was a nice touch with a very good sized mini fridge and the bathroom was very large for a kabin. There was a chair on the porch which was broken in the middle, a fire pit (located behind the kabin, I assume to prevent the desert winds from blowing it out) and a bbq grill (you must use a lighter to light this but the kampground provides this). You are located directly across from a small state park area that offers some day hikes for a $5 fee (we didn't use this) and right down the road from Quail Creek. It was a 2 hour drive to Bryce and a 45 minute drive to Zion (both very doable). Though we didn't use it, the pool area was nice and they had a clubhouse with games that could be used. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The negatives: You are right off the express way so there is some traffic noise. The picnic table we had was made out of wood which is fine but it hadn't been sanded in a while so we got quite a few splinters. The septic system was able to be smelled while sitting outside from time to time and that wasn't a great way to spend the night but it would ho away about 20 minutes after the smell started.
