Had a wonderful time, our upper awning pin broke and the maintenance crew came to our rescue!!! So very grateful! Cannot thank all of the staff enough. Everyone is so polite and professionally helpful!!! Thank you again!

We had a lovely creek-side RV site that was just perfect for us. The amenities were great and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to visit again sometime!

We stayed in cabin 236. I think it's the oldest cabin. It really needs a upgrade of appearance inside and out. a tinged of mildew noted. Looked really bad outside. Notified manager she was very nice and thanked us for telling her. Will stay again. Had a wonderful time. Only wish cabin was nicer. Maybe next time. We are coming back.

It was great! Got to see lots of Elk this year. The only problem I had was I had a death in the family & when I called to reschedule I was told the campground was SOLD OUT, it’s a full house. That was a lie! The campground had many spaces available.

We stayed at your campground this past weekend for Mother's Day. I spent a lot of time researching places to go, and I chose this spot for the amenities. However, the outdoor pool was not available, nor was the hot tub. The indoor pool had an unsafe ladder with broken parts all around it, The indoor hot tub had dirty water. There was no game room? The bathroom had feces all over the floor.

I was told I would have an early check in at 2 pm but when I got there I had to wait till 4 and they really weren't nice about it. But... I loved my cabin and the staff is really nice and accommodating. It was just a glitch. � I look forward to going back soon

We stayed at this campground in May 2023 in our motorhome and loved it. Beautiful place. This May, without motorhome, we stayed in a deluxe cabin on the river. Still beautiful and many upgrades to the campground. But the cabin wasn't clean, several lights didn't work, and water seeped up from under the floorboards when we walked in the bathroom. Ugh. That's why the low ratings.

We always enjoy staying at the KOA. We were sad the outdoor pool wasn’t open. The shared bathrooms in the bathhouse were horrible. They were dirty and smelled all weekend. Despite seeing cleaners in and out all weekend, one stall had human feces all over the floor for the entire 3 days we were there, we could smell it from our campsite all weekend everytime someone opened the door. It was awful

We arrived after dark. There isn't any signs indicating which way to the numbered campsites . The road and drive thru sites got confusing. We had to get out of the truck with a flashlight to find the campsite numbers. I am sure daytime arrival would be clearer to see.

Overall stay was very good. Good proximity to Smokey Mountain Nat'l Park. Since the office closed at 5 pm, we missed the opportunity to buy firewood when returning from a day in the park. The outdoor pool/hot tub were not yet open (too early in season). We were disappointed that the indoor hot tub was not working. Overall, nice visit. Lots of improvements underway! Highly recommend.

The only issues I had were I called the day before to ask if cabins were available to check in before 4:00 pm if no one in the cabin and I was told that if I was there around 3:30 and the cabin was ready that sometimes they check you in. I had three service dogs withme. When I arrived there was two girls in the store I took one of my service dogs in with me and one girl Rebecca said to me

Great place and people that work there where nice and helpful. Only suggest put chairs by laundry room and showers so when your waiting on clothes or kid in shower!! You can have a sit and enjoy looking at all the beautiful mountains.

Very nice cabin on the river. Cabin furnished with all I needed except reading pen light over bed didn't work. Would suggest reading pen light next to couch. Cabin was clean, nicely laid out. Will stay there again.

It's in a great location. This was our 2nd time staying. The cabin that my parents stayed in was amazing. Just needed some more trees for shade throughout mainly where the rv sites are in the middle sections. Next time we are there we will definitely get near the river.

Staff were so helpful in rearranging our reservation and even refunded a day that we couldn't use due to illness. The campground itself was large but not packed together. Lots of large shade trees, level paved sites, electric, sewer & water in the correct location for our Class B.

We love the Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA. The campground is well kept and the cabin was clean. The staff is friendly and obviously cares about the campground. Our kids loved the creek, the playground, and fishing. It's a great base camp for area exploration; Mingo Falls is so close! The cabin was clean and well stocked with pots/pans, silverware, grilling utensils, plates, cups, and bowls. We will be back! The photos reflect a Deluxe Cabin (Full Bath with Shower) 6 person, near creek. There was a set of bunk beds, a full bath, and a separate bedroom with a full size bed and creek views.

Very nice park. Kind of out of the way yet close in. Quiet which is very nice if you've spent a few nights near a freeway.

What a beautiful camp ground. The cabins are pretty well stocked with everything you need. A few items did not work but did not take away from the experience.
