We stayed in cabin 236. I think it's the oldest cabin. It really needs a upgrade of appearance inside and out. a tinged of mildew noted. Looked really bad outside. Notified manager she was very nice and thanked us for telling her. Will stay again. Had a wonderful time. Only wish cabin was nicer. Maybe next time. We are coming back.

I was told I would have an early check in at 2 pm but when I got there I had to wait till 4 and they really weren't nice about it. But... I loved my cabin and the staff is really nice and accommodating. It was just a glitch. � I look forward to going back soon

We stayed at this campground in May 2023 in our motorhome and loved it. Beautiful place. This May, without motorhome, we stayed in a deluxe cabin on the river. Still beautiful and many upgrades to the campground. But the cabin wasn't clean, several lights didn't work, and water seeped up from under the floorboards when we walked in the bathroom. Ugh. That's why the low ratings.

We always enjoy staying at the KOA. We were sad the outdoor pool wasn’t open. The shared bathrooms in the bathhouse were horrible. They were dirty and smelled all weekend. Despite seeing cleaners in and out all weekend, one stall had human feces all over the floor for the entire 3 days we were there, we could smell it from our campsite all weekend everytime someone opened the door. It was awful

The only issues I had were I called the day before to ask if cabins were available to check in before 4:00 pm if no one in the cabin and I was told that if I was there around 3:30 and the cabin was ready that sometimes they check you in. I had three service dogs withme. When I arrived there was two girls in the store I took one of my service dogs in with me and one girl Rebecca said to me

Very nice cabin on the river. Cabin furnished with all I needed except reading pen light over bed didn't work. Would suggest reading pen light next to couch. Cabin was clean, nicely laid out. Will stay there again.

It's in a great location. This was our 2nd time staying. The cabin that my parents stayed in was amazing. Just needed some more trees for shade throughout mainly where the rv sites are in the middle sections. Next time we are there we will definitely get near the river.

We rented a partial kitchen cabin but did not have any dishes and they were not provided after we requested them. Ants were present in the kitchen sink area. The shower drained slowly. There was no hot water to the bathroom sink. It was uncomfortable sitting outside on the porch due to a large number of carpenter bees. We did enjoy close access to Cherokee and the National Park.

It was a birthday gift for my daughter, so I wasn't there. Someone switched the cabin I had rented for her and nobody knows why. She did enjoy her stay.

Ugh. I hate to leave something negative because I have started a tradition of coming here after my tax season… The bees were horrible, just too much. I saw the natural catchers but they were not working on our unit. I wish they would have put us in the middle at least where they were flocking around. There was over 50 at mid day,everyday. I go to relax and listen to the water, not for activiti

We had a great stay at the Cherokee KOA! The staff was great and very helpful! The cabin was clean and ready for us to use! Only problem was the cabin needed a little maintenance and curtains for more privacy. We’ll be back in September ��

A wonderful stay in the luxury cabin near the river. Enough room for the whole family (4 adults). The presence of a Weberbarbecue was a nice surprise. Only one disappointment: the kitchen crockery is minimal, even when you want to cook a simple one-pot meal.

The only reason I rated a 4 and not a 5 is because of the late 4pm check in. That does NOT allow us to take full advantage of the amenities. Also the KOA store closes at 5pm. Otherwise the employees were very hospitable and the restrooms were clean.

We loved it. Our cabin was 251 and the view was absolutely amazing. The kids loved fishing, swimming, and playing in the water with their waders. I look forward to coming back and staying many more times.

We had an amazing time! We met family down there and decided to try out the cabins. We loved every second! The cabin was, truthfully, way nicer than we expected it to be and our dog absolutely loved the trip as well! We will most definitely be back!

Me and my wife have been coming to this KOA for 3 years now. We absolutely love it here. The staff is always friendly. The cabins and campground is always clean. It is very quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend anybody to try this place out. We will continue coming to this campground.

We love the Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA. The campground is well kept and the cabin was clean. The staff is friendly and obviously cares about the campground. Our kids loved the creek, the playground, and fishing. It's a great base camp for area exploration; Mingo Falls is so close! The cabin was clean and well stocked with pots/pans, silverware, grilling utensils, plates, cups, and bowls. We will be back! The photos reflect a Deluxe Cabin (Full Bath with Shower) 6 person, near creek. There was a set of bunk beds, a full bath, and a separate bedroom with a full size bed and creek views.

What a beautiful camp ground. The cabins are pretty well stocked with everything you need. A few items did not work but did not take away from the experience.
