Fabulous place! Very clean restroom/shower rooms. Located on a hill above LasCruces. We enjoyed our tea and coffee in the evening overlooking the city while swinging on the Adirondack swings! Also took advantage of the guest outdoor kitchen as our stove had an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and nicely remodeled. Need better signage on highway to let people know you’re there and when to turn.

Leah was awesome for checkin. Very clean and well kept and the view is amazing!!!! Convenient to I-10 but off the freeway so very quiet.

Awesome park. I always stay here when passing through. I love the improvements. Up coming November we will be staying for a few days to see the area. Only complaint that I have with all KOA's. They are getting a little expensive for the average traveler. My suggestion is to freeze the prices increases for a few years. Remember inflation over the past 4 years is hurting the average family

We had made a mistake and had booked the wrong koa. The Las Cruces staff were very understanding and gave us a site anyway while they helped us get a full refund from the campground that we booked it mistake.

Very clean and well maintained park. Friendly staff and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Definitely recommend this park for the beautiful sunrise and sunset views alone.

Everything was excellent but....wifi was poor for being that close to a big city

Beautiful & very nice but there was no hot water in the shower at night or the next morning

Our apologies, we did have one of our hot water heaters go out - it fixed as soon as we learned about it. We do have multiple locations to use.

Excellent facility with great staff. Beautiful views, extra care to place fire pits, chairs, community kitchen and cook area. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well thought out. Dog park was excellent. Only negative to our stay is that the Pooh can was never emptied during our stay. We love this KOA. Thank you for your hard work!

We’ve been in 47 of our 50 states and have said in a KOA at least once in each state. The Las Cruces Journey is by far the best of the best. This last visit was our 5th time we’ve been here and each time there has been another feature/improvement on the property. Great staff/great amenities. Highly recommend this KOA Kampground!

The entryway to this KOA is on a hill, but it was manageable by my partner and the travel trailer. Jordan, the KOA representative who checked us in, was very helpful because we had parked in the wrong place, and I mentioned that my partner sucked at backing up, so she gave us an alternate way to get to our site, which was extremely helpful. The entire campground was very clean. The shower rooms and bathrooms were practically new, and the store had local gifts and a complimentary morning coffee and snack time. We only stayed overnight, and we were too tired to cook, so we utilized DoorDash, and the dasher had no problem finding our site (that's how easy the site numbering system is.) We ordered from a local restaurant to try Las Cruces' cuisine. The hill on which the KOA is built allows guests to have a nice view of the city (at night it was pretty), and there is a walking path from which to take pictures. Our Yorkie enjoyed the Paw Pad, too! We'll be back!

Update: back again and there were many upgrades, including new asphalt and playground equipment. Previous: Will become a regular stop on our Phoenix - San Antonio runs. Near the freeway, great views and good prices.

I love this KOA. Concrete pads make leveling our camper van very easy. The campground is up on a hill and the views of Las Cruces after dark are spectacular. The tent sites are some of the best I've ever seen - even has a shared outdoor kitchen with 2 sinks, a cook top, and a BBQ. Dog friendly. The bathrooms and laundry have been recently updated and they are fantastic. The showers are large private rooms with bench, toilet, and sink. The laundry is now twice the size it was. Wash is $3.00 and dry is #2.00, large folding table, places to sit, and a TV. We go out of our way to stay here when we travel cross country.
