Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in 4:00 P.M.

Check-out 11:00 A.M.

We ask that you please respect our check-in and check-out times, as this helps with traffic control. The county road to our campground is currently narrow in some spots and may be difficult for two campers to pass, to help avoid this we spaced our check-in/out times far enough apart to minimize the chances of campers checking in and checking-out at the same time.

Pet policy

KOA Campgrounds are pet-friendly and welcome our guests who enjoy traveling and sharing their
camping experience with the family dog and/or cat. However, to ensure all of our guests have a safe
and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following KOA pet policy:
• Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any KOA. If your dog shows behavior that is
protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave them home. If you decide to bring your dog and it
exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the KOA will ask you to please find other
camping accommodations
• All pets are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all
times. A 6' (six foot) leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner's
camping trailer, vehicle, cabin, or motorhome. No pet should be left tied up and unattended outside the
owner's camping equipment.
• Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked
to leave if you are not able to control your pet's barking behavior.
• Pet rules unique to the location will be addressed at time of reservation or registration. We
encourage all dog owners to call in advance to inquire about any specific rules that might apply to
their situation.
• Service dogs of any breed are welcome at all KOA campgrounds. However, these animals must
follow leash restraint policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.

Quiet Hours

Our quiet hours are from 10:00 P.M. to 8 A.M.

Golf cart/ATV/UTV policy

You can bring your own golf cart for $15/day. You are welcome to bring your ATV,UTV,RZR, or dirt bike; for everyone's safety, they are prohibited from being driven through the park and are only allowed to be driven out of the park on the main road. *Failure to follow this rule will result in us asking you to remove the vehicle from the property and, in extreme cases may result in expulsion from the park without refund.

Personal Watercrafts

If you are bringing your own kayak, canoe, boat, or raft there is a $10 charge to put in on the lake or at our river access

Campfire and Firewood

Firewood is sold at the camp store for $5/bundle you may also bring your own firewood, but please do not bring or take firewood across state lines as this could introduce invasive insects and wreak havoc on our forests.
Campfire are allowed in designated fire rings at each campsite. We ask that the fire always remain supervised, stay within the fire ring, and remain under control, we also ask that you smother or douse the flame before leaving it unattended. Doing these few things will help reduce forest fire and help keep our state beautiful.
In the later parts of summer and into fall Missouri often goes long periods of time without rainfall and the Missouri Department of Conservation and local officials may issue a burn ban at anytime without notice, If you are concerned that your stay may be affected by the burn ban please call at most one week ahead of time and ask about the fire conditions and the likelihood of a burn ban.

Important Rafting and Float trip information

Safety is our number one priority, and the river water level is dependent on whether or not we will put you on the water. After long periods of heavy rains we may decide that the river level is at a dangerous hight and will cancel any floats until the water comes back down to a safe level. Any floats that have been scheduled and paid for during that time will be refunded in full.

Tours Policy

Visitors are welcome to come look at the park any day from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. On weekends (Fri-Sun) we ask that you only tour the main part of the facility and not go back to the river.

We also ask that you refrain from approaching and looking through the windows of any of our accommodations (even if they appear unoccupied) If you would like to see the inside of any of our cabins, wagons, or tents please ask the front desk to confirm that it is unoccupied; and if it is possible we would be happy to give you a tour.
